Position Overview/Responsibilities for the Accounts Payable Specialist:
Invoice entry into the purchasing system
Maintaining open communication with vendors and team members to address concerns
Securing approvals from relevant stakeholders
Reconciling Purchase Orders to invoices and validating coding in the ERP system
Serving the varied needs of internal and external contacts
Reviewing contracts thoroughly and reconciling them to Purchase Orders and invoices.
This is a contract position through June 16, 2025, with a hybrid work schedule. The successful candidate will be required to be on-site for the first two weeks for training and then work on-site every Monday and Tuesday, with the option to work from home for the remaining three days of the week.
Required Skills for Accounts Payable Specialist:
Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounts payable or accounting, preferably in tech or similar industries
Proficiency with Oracle, SAP, or other ERP applications
Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel
Excellent customer service skills and experience in vendor management
Understanding of basic accounting in coding (i.e., what is a fixed asset, vs. prepaid, vs. expense)
Ability to navigate ambiguity and adapt to nontraditional structures and processes.
