Senior PACS Administrator Schedule: Full-Time Pay: Base (120-135K) + Sign On Bonus ($5K-15K) Position Summary: We are seeking an experienced Senior PACS Administrator to manage and maintain a variety of radiology-related systems and platforms. The ideal candidate will have expertise in GE Centricity PACS, Powerscribe, Powershare, GE AW, DICOM Routers, Hologic, Cerner RadNet, Muse, GE Cardiac PACS, GE EchoPAC, and DICOM modality setup/configuration. This role is responsible for ensuring smooth system operations, upgrades, troubleshooting, and compliance across all PACS systems and related infrastructure. The administrator will provide technical support, assess departmental needs, and offer training for physicians, technologists, and administrative personnel. Essential Responsibilities:
  • System Administration: Manage and maintain PACS and other radiology IT systems to ensure seamless operation.
  • Troubleshooting & Maintenance: Identify and resolve system issues, perform updates, and optimize performance.
  • Integration & Configuration: Implement and configure DICOM modality setups for system compatibility.
  • Collaboration & Training: Work closely with radiologists, technologists, and staff to provide training and user support.

Job Requirements: Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Healthcare Informatics, or a related field (preferred).
Experience:
  • 5-7 years of experience administering and supporting radiology IT systems in a healthcare setting (preferred).
Knowledge & Skills:
  • Strong understanding of radiology policies, procedures, and equipment maintenance.
