Data Conversion Lead

Location: Pittsburgh, PA  Schedule: Remote

IDR is seeking a Data Conversion Lead to join a high-performing team focused on executing large-scale enterprise data migrations. This is an exciting opportunity for a data professional with deep experience in data warehousing, ERP rollouts, and automation to play a key role in driving transformation across supply chain systems.

Position Overview / Responsibilities:

• Lead end-to-end data conversion and migration efforts for enterprise-scale implementations

• Develop and maintain data mapping strategies from diverse source systems to target data warehouses

• Design and implement automated data transformation and load processes

• Collaborate cross-functionally with stakeholders from ERP, supply chain, and sales platforms

• Ensure high-quality data validation, integrity checks, and transformation accuracy

• Provide technical documentation and post-migration support

• Monitor data conversion job performance and handle troubleshooting and tuning

• Participate in planning sessions and contribute to architecture and data strategy discussions

Required Skills:

• 10+ years of experience in data warehousing and enterprise data migration

• Proven expertise in data mapping, transformation, and automation practices

• Experience in at least one or two ERP rollout projects (SAP, Oracle, etc.)

• Strong background in supply chain systems and processes

• Familiarity with sales platforms such as Salesforce or Microsoft Dynamics

• Solid understanding of ETL tools, scripting languages, and enterprise database platforms

• Strong communication skills and experience working with cross-functional teams

• Experience in Agile or hybrid project environments

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience integrating data across multiple enterprise systems

• Exposure to cloud data platforms or data lake architecture

• Familiarity with modern data integration tools and frameworks

• Prior leadership in global data transformation initiatives

• Understanding of data governance and compliance best practices

SAP Procurement Consultant 

• Ongoing contract (Client maintains right to hire after 3 months though rarely exercises this right)
• Location: Remote with occasional travel to Charlotte, NC

Good to Have:

• Experience in SAP data migration, data warehousing, data governance frameworks.
• Experience with Agile project management methodologies.
• Certification in data quality or data governance.
• Experience leading data migration teams.
• Experience in procurement and finance reports e.g. purchase order report, invoice verification report, accounts payable report, accounts receivable report, general ledger report, vendor evaluation report etc. and associated data structure details.
• Integration with other SAP modules e.g. SAP MM, FI, CO, SD, PP etc.

Requirements:

• Candidates with 5-6 years of SAP Procurement & SAP Finance experience preferably in data structure and processes.
• Good understanding of purchasing, contract management, supplier evaluation, material master data, purchase order management, inventory management, goods receipts and invoice verification, accounts payable, account receivables, general ledger processes etc. along with their table and field level detailed mapping.
• Familiar with procurement and finance transactions e.g. ME21N, ME22N, MIGO, F-02/03, FB60 etc.
• Familiar with procurement and finance tables e.g. EKKO, EKPO, LFA1, LFB1, BKPF, BSEG etc.
• Experience with SAP ECC 6.0 or S4 HANA.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving and communication skills
• Familiar with data migration tools (e.g. Informatica, LSMW etc.)
• Fair understanding of SAP data quality and data governance best practices.
• Preferred SAP certification in procurement and finance or related modules.
