Position Overview/Responsibilities for the EHR Systems Analyst: 1. Lead the migration efforts of current legacy system to new modernized cloud-based SaaS solutions. This includes comprehensive planning, data assessment, extraction, cleansing, and mapping to ensure compatibility with the new system. The worker will primarily work on developing scripts to extract data out of legacy systems such as Oracle Cerner’s Millennium database on in HL7 format (60%). 2. (5%) 5.   Ensures that design complies with HHSC standards. This task also involves setting up validation and auditing processes to maintain data integrity post-migration. • 8+ years’ experience in Database management systems, workflows and data migration, with a strong emphasis on healthcare EHR systems in developing scripting, extracting data in hL7 format and mapping to target systems.
