Company Job Title: Patient Access Coordinator
Reason for the Opening: 3 month LOA but there are multiple clinics in the area and there is always a chance there will be another opening at the end of the LOA if they come back, but just cannot guarantee it.
Job Duties:

Great customer service skills

Southern California insurance payer knowledge to answer phones, perform check in/out, schedule appts, check eligibility, review benefits/authorization documents, obtain patient forms/payments working in NextGen EMR system
Schedule: Monday – Friday 8am -5pm with a 1 hour lunch

Manager(s): Send Resumes to Nikki Garcia, Area Manager, and Marisol Trinidad, PAC Supervisor, as she will be approving timesheets
Interview Process: Pushing for one onsite interview but Marisol loves to screen them on Teams first, then onsite.
Minimum Requirements

1+ years of medical front office exp check in in/out, insurance benefits, prior auths, verification

Southern California insurance payer knowledge

Must have HS Diploma or GED

Bilingual in English/Spanish
Training: There will be both in-person and virtual training, may need to travel to Essex junction VT for a week for in-person training.
EMR: NextGen
Dress Attire: Solid color matching scrubs (no prints) with closed toe shoes
