Customer Service Advocate I – Remote Ohio
HealthCare Support is actively seeking to fill multiple
Member Service Customer Service Advocates for our prestigious healthcare client in
OHIO. This is a Remote Position where residence must reside in the state of Ohio to be considered.
Daily Responsibilities for Customer Service Advocate I:
- Answer incoming healthcare contact center calls from members and providers of the health plan. Assist with New member health benefits/questions, new member cards, checking on claims, eligibility, verifications, authorizations, grievances with providers, help fine PCPs, transportation, billing issues, calling DME's or provider offices.
- On average this team sees about 20-25 calls per day but can fluctuate based on busy season. EX: Enrollment, when the new counties begin enrollment
- May be required to make outbound calls to help with follow ups.
- Gather and verify demographic information and document calls using standard computer software and systems.
- Will utilize up to 5 different systems to assist provider and member calls.

Shift: The operation hours for this team is Monday-Friday 7am-8pm and candidate must be available to work during this time as shift is based of business needs. Most likely will be on the latest shift, 11:30am-8pm shift with a 30-minute lunch and (2) 15-minute breaks.

Required Qualifications for Customer Service Advocate I:
- HS Diploma or GED
- 2+ years of customer service experience with inbound and outbound calls
- Ability to de-escalate a call
- No time off within first 6 weeks and no major time off within first 6 months due to training and open enrollment
- Strong tenure
- WFH capability – smart phone, private workspace, high speed internet
Preferred Qualifications for Customer Service Advocate I:
- Healthcare experience highly preferred

Pay Details: $19.00 an hour
