Medical Technologist HealthCare Support is actively seeking a Medical Technologist to fill an opening in Needham, Massachusetts.  Daily Responsibilities for Medical Technologist

• Performs various chemical, microscopic and/or bacteriologic tests to obtain data used in diagnosis and treatment of disease. Executes and analyzes tests in chemistry, hematology, morphology, urinalysis, and serology
• Operates various analytic devices used in performing complex testing and sampling.
• Interprets and correlates test results with patient history, diagnosis and clinical condition in order to explain test results (normal/abnormal) so that appropriate action can be taken. Analyzes test results and enters findings in computer.
• Monday to Friday 7 am to 3:30 pm

Required Qualifications for Medical Technologist

• Bachelor of Science degree in a chemical, physical, clinical laboratory science or medical technology from an accredited institution required.
• Must meet the required qualifications for being an individual responsible for competency assessment and have the education and experience to evaluate the complexity of testing being assessed as defined by CAP
• Certified Medical Technologist (ASCP) certification is strongly preferred.
