Roles & Responsibilities As a Field Service Technician you will be responsible for:
  • Attending various customer sites across the UK and Ireland to carry out various installations, repair works, and after sales service support works to specialist plant and machinery.
  • Undertaking inspections and assessments of machinery to ensure optimal performance and that all plant remains effective.
  • Carrying out reports and documentation detailing completed works and advisories and ensuring that the customer has had necessary follow ups.
  • Providing technical and engineering support to customers as well as health and safety guidance and compliance.
  • Attending company meetings and training in the Netherlands when required

Skills & Qualifications We are looking for someone with the following:
  • Electrical and Mechanical experience with relevant qualifications is essential

This is a field-based position requiring a flexible approach to work.

To be considered for this position candidates will be expected to have a background in performing mechanical maintenance / installation/ testing with experience working in the water industry or on water treatment plants.

Full training will be provided, however candidates are expected to be qualified in mechanical fitting to NVQ level 3 or equivalent and will ideally hold a valid CSCS card as well as having confined space experience and training.

Due to the nature of the role, a full UK driving license is essential.

Working at their Plastic Recycling Facility in Avonmouth, theย Site Operative will be responsible for supporting withย the operating, inspecting and maintenance of static and mobile plant on-site. You will be carrying out duties related toย the movement, loading and unloading of Plastic Reyclling Materials as well as supporting with site maintenance and general yard activities.ย 

This role involves working a 4 on 4 off rotating shift pattern including night shifts, please only apply is this is suitable.

The Role:

Working as a Site Operative, you will be responsible for:

  • Picking, cleaning and supporting site based duties
  • Operating, Inspecting and Maintaining Forklift and Telehandler plant on-site.

  • Loading and unloading of materials for transport to and from the site.
  • Occasional cover at other waste facilities as required.

  • Hands on maintenance across the site on both fixed and mobile plant including compactors, shredders and on-site conveyor systems.
  • Maintaining pumps, motors, gearboxes, stirrers, mixers, and all associated plant.
  • Driving plant availability through carrying out PPMs, reactive maintenance, and engineering improvements across the site as well as installations.
  • Develop and implement processes and procedures to ensure efficiency and minimum downtime across the site.
  • Stay on top of site stock and spares.
  • Other duties as required.
ย  Skills & Qualifications We are looking for someone with the following:
