Roles & Responsibilities

As a Water Treatment Technician, you will be responsible for:

  • Carrying out inspections on tanks and cooling towers across various sites
  • Reporting on the condition of the tanks and cooling towers
  • Carrying out small maintenance works and repairs
  • Basic sampling, temperature monitoring and recording
  • Monitoring of the pre-post chlorination of the cooling towers
  • Carrying out TMV servicing
  • Ensuring that all documentation is completed and compliant.

We are looking for someone with the following:

  • A strong background of working within the water treatment industry
  • Experience of working with cooling towers
  • Knowledge of taking water treatment samples and carrying out inspections

Roles & Responsibilities

Reporting directly to the Engineering Manager, as a Mechanical Technician, you will be responsible for:

  • Hands on maintenance across the site
  • Maintaining pumps, motors, gearboxes, stirrers, mixers, and all associated pipework
  • Driving plant availability through carrying out PPMs, reactive maintenance, and engineering improvements across the site as well as installations.
  • Develop and implement processes and procedures to ensure efficiency and minimum downtime across the site.
  • Stay on top of site stock and spares
  • Other duties as required

Role Overview

Hochtief is seeking an experienced Senior Environmental Advisor to support delivery of the Infrastructure Delivery Partner (IDP) programme at Sellafield. This role will be responsible for providing environmental leadership and technical expertise across a portfolio of major infrastructure and nuclear projects, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and driving best practice in environmental management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide expert environmental advice to project and delivery teams across all phases of work (design, construction, and commissioning)

  • Ensure compliance with environmental legislation, planning conditions, and site-specific requirements

  • Develop, implement, and maintain Environmental Management Plans (EMPs), risk assessments, and method statements

  • Identify environmental risks and opportunities, implementing mitigation and improvement strategies

  • Support and lead environmental audits, inspections, and assurance activities

  • Liaise with regulators, clients, and key stakeholders on environmental matters
