With close to 1.8GWp installed Globally and a 5-year track record for outstanding services, they are looking for a Site Manager to be responsible for providing Site Management services to concurrent turn-key EPC Solar PV & Battery Storage projects in the UK     Roles & Responsibilities You will be responsible for:

• Monitoring performance of operating projects, identifying areas for improvements with deep analysis of the performance of the site, identifying issues and suggesting improvements.
• Reports writing and reviewing for the assets.
• Working closely with Portfolio Managers and Business Development Manager on any issues and the Development Manager and Head of O&M on annual maintenance budgets.
• Hr related involvement and support - recruiting, training, supervising and appraisals for the monitoring team and raising any H&S concerns with manager.
• Liasing with clients after events.
• Supporting field service team with site specific reporting templates via iAuditor and/or other platforms.

    Skills & Qualifications We are looking for someone with the following:

• M onitoring of solar farms  remotely , from a system perspective to individual components: strings, pyros, SCBs, inverters, transformers temperature, trackers, coolant checks.
• Identifying issues, coordinating faults and investigations with the service technician team. 
• Resetting inverters remotely when needed. Activation/deactivation of GFDI protocols
• Report generation  and ch asing engineers ensuring all reports are received especially  corrective reports.
• Event notifications, updating the clients.

Astute's Power Team are currently recruiting for a C&I Commissioning Engineer to join the EPC Contractor on the new build Energy from Waste Turbine project based in Scotland.

The day rate for the C&I Commissioning Engineer position is from £500 to £550 per day outside of IR35. Role responsibilities and key skills for the role:

• Take ownership of the PCS 7 DCS, Safety Matrix and associated documentation, including a full handover from Fox commissioning engineers.
• Complete commissioning activities including loop checks, functional testing, cause-and-effect testing, interlocks and safety functions.
• Implement and test control logic changes from commissioning, design reviews and HAZOP/LOPA actions under the Management of Change process.
• Integrate and support packaged systems including the boiler, flue gas treatment, turbine, ACC, compressed air, water treatment and CEMS with the DCS.
• During operations, act as the DCS/SIS system owner, managing backups, licences, cyber security, fault finding, SIS proof testing, instrumentation, alarms and system changes.
• Support ongoing plant operations through outages, root-cause investigations, permit compliance, operator/technician training, reporting and participation in the on-call rota.

This role is ideal for candidates with Electrical Design experience, but those with backgrounds in Electrical Installation or Maintenance are also encouraged to apply.

The Senior Electrical Engineer position come with a salary from $130,000 to $150,000 plus benefits. Role responsibilities and key skills for the role:

• Act as the Lead Electrical Engineer across projects, supporting all project phases with a particular focus on detailed engineering and project execution.
• Develop electrical power system engineering deliverables, including single-line, three-line, schematic and connection drawings, cabling systems, grounding systems and associated documentation.
• Carry out the sizing, selection and specification of electrical equipment, producing technical specifications and equipment data sheets.
• Design electrical systems covering lighting, lightning protection, grounding and cable tray systems, including conduit, cable, wire and motor sizing.
• Specify major electrical equipment including transformers, switchgear, MCCs, variable frequency drives (VFDs) and power-conditioning equipment.
• Perform and review power system studies, including short-circuit, load-flow, protective coordination and arc-flash studies using SKM, ETAP, EasyPower or equivalent software.
• Review electrical shop drawings, vendor documentation and technical data, ensuring designs meet project and engineering requirements.
• Coordinate closely with suppliers, clients, designers and multidisciplinary engineering teams throughout project delivery.
• Prepare complete construction drawing and specification packages for project execution.
• Conduct and review hazardous-area classification assessments, ensuring designs comply with applicable API, NFPA and other relevant standards.
• Ensure electrical designs comply with relevant NFPA, NEMA, IEEE and IEC codes and standards.
• Lead the quality management of electrical engineering work processes, calculations, designs and deliverables.
• Provide technical leadership, resolve engineering issues and ensure effective communication between electrical and other engineering disciplines.
• Work directly with clients from proposal development and front-end planning through detailed engineering and project execution.
• Bring a minimum of 10 years’ electrical engineering experience within petrochemical, oil & gas, power generation and/or metallurgical/mineral processing environments.
• Hold a Professional Engineer (PE) licence, with the ability to register through NCEES and obtain registration in additional US states as required.
• Previous engineering consultancy experience is strongly preferred, with TWIC eligibility/current TWIC considered advantageous.
