Mechanical Technician – Energy from Waste Avonmouth, Bristol Competitive Salary + Benefits     Introduction Astute Technical Recruitment are currently looking for a Mechanical Maintenance Technician to join an Energy from Waste power station in Avonmouth, Bristol.    As the Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for carrying out inspections, planned and reactive maintenance of all mechanical plant on site.                   Roles & Responsibilities As the Mechanical Engineer you will be responsible for:
  • Carrying out planned and reactive maintenance on mechanical assets which includes equipment such as steam boiler, conveyor systems, gearbox, steam turbines, cranes, pumps, etc.
  • Planning PPM Schedules and reviewing plant defects
  • Update the Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS) when required
  • Supervise external contractors on site during scheduled maintenance and inspections
  • Carry out root cause analysis (RCA) to prevent faults from reoccurring
    Skills & Qualifications To be considered for the role of Mechanical Engineer role we are looking for someone with the following criteria (essential):
