What you'll be doing;
Work as the senior team leader of a team of other electrical or mechanical engineers and mechanical fitters, often consisting of two or more engineers across a range of sites
Carry out electrically complex and detailed asset overhauls and replacements
Undertake complex electrical repairs and modifications dewatering equipment, pumps, pipework, valves and other ancillary equipment
Working under CDM regulations on projects work
Leading remedial work on dewatering EICA systems
Troubleshooting on dewatering electrical systems: filtration, centrifuge
Design and installation to WIMES of electrical control systems including switchgear
Complete wiring and cabling works
Carry out electrical inspections, services and repairs to customers’ dewatering assets machines
Undertake standby cover and overtime as required as well as flexibility to work away from home
Complete test reports, installation certificates and customer feedback documents
Complete customer paperwork such as permits to work and safety paperwork
Please note some mechanical crossover is part of the role and the role will not be 100% electrical at all times
What we're looking for;
Essential:
Previous experience in working in an industrial environment
NVQ or a recognised apprenticeship in electrical engineering maintenance at Level 3
BS Inspection & Testing qualification & 18th Edition
ICA experience
Full UK Driving License
Compex Trained
Confined Space Trained
First Aid Trained
IOSH Trained

The Structural Manager will provide technical leadership, guidance, and governance of the Structural design team. Responsible for developing and implementing tools and processes that ensure design processes are robust and outputs are in line with scope. The Structural Manager should be driven to reduce engineering lead times, improve quality and accuracy, and reduce costs without compromising on safety. Effectively communicating expected deliverables to their team and working closely with stakeholders and peers to drive accountability, ownership, and measured performance.

I have an incredible opportunity for a design focused senior civil engineer with experience of complex reinforced concrete and steel frame structure construction projects to join the team responsible for delivering the challenging nuclear and conventional island portions of one of the largest engineering projects in Europe at Hinkley Point C in Somerset.

As a Civil Engineer you will be responsible for a variety of tasks to support an extremely busy client project office.

Whilst previous nuclear project exposure would be a distinct advantage it is not a requirement, and any transferable large complex construction experience will be considered. The civil work design is made on TEKLA, and used as a deliverable directly for construction activities for different tasks.
