  • Mange the complete concrete frame construction with all the associated groundworks and foundations.

    Professional qualifications    We are looking for someone with the following:   
  • Degree in Civil Engineering (preferred but not essential)

Responsibilities and duties 

  As the Electrical Engineer you will:   
  • Have electrical design and commissioning experience gained in an industrial, utility, renewable power or consultancy environment coupled with client facing project management experience 

  • Experience with HV, MV and LV, embedded generation, protection circuits, grid connections, switchgear, substations and coordinating with UK DNOs. 

  • Be familiar with feasibility studies and design reviews. 

  • Have an excellent understanding of health, safety and welfare within engineering. 

  • Witness both site and factory acceptance testing. 

  • Assess manufactured or fabricated items for faults. 

  • Have the provision of site-based construction monitoring. 

  • Be able to work as part of a wider electrical engineering team. 

  • Be able to travel in the UK and occasionally EU/Ireland.

Commissioning Manager

  Personal skills    The Commissioning Manager role would suit someone who is:   
  • Minimum 5 years of experience as Commissioning Manager for large industrial Energy Plants (Energy from Waste or Biomass plants experience is preferred)
  • Maintain very good leadership skills and ability to negotiate with subcontractors
  • Has very good communication skills
  • Has the ability to recognize, adapt and execute the most appropriate course of action based on experience
  Salary and benefits of the Commissiong Manager role    The salary is between £95,000 and £120,000 depending on experience plus a great benefits package which includes the following:
