The Commercial Manager role comes with a salary ranging between £80,000 to £100,000 depending on experience plus an excellent benefits package.

Responsibilities and duties
As the Commercial Manager
you will:

Lead all site commercial activities, maintaining an overview of all commercial site issues.

Support the Project Director and Contract Manager with commercial issues, site risks, and client contract management.

Identify and manage commercial opportunities, risks, and claims, ensuring proper documentation and reporting.

Guide commercial site personnel, coordinate tasks, and ensure compliance with contractual and insurance requirements.

Participate in negotiations with subcontractors and manage site payments and financial documentation.

Regularly update the team on commercial risks, opportunities, and project cost status.
Professional qualifications
We are looking for someone with the following:

Degree in Quantity Surveying

Proficient with standard form and bespoke contracts (NEC / FIDIC) and applicable HSEQ legal requirements

Has the Right to Work in the UK
Personal skills
The Commercial Manager role would suit someone who:

10 years quantity surveying experience in Construction or Industrial Plant project delivery

Commercially aware with experience in change management and producing claims

Stakeholder Management Experience

Contract Administration for both Civils and M&E Packages

Cost Reporting Management of Project QS

Assertive, diligent, detail and solution orientated, good negotiation skills

Language skills: business fluent in English
