Roles & Responsibilities

Reporting directly to the Technical Sales Manager, as a Technical Sales Advisor, you will be responsible for:

 

  • Answering incoming calls and emails from prospective and existing clients whilst providing technical sales advice off the back of process bulk and packages customer enquiries.
  • Arranging the hazpack chemist visit and ensuring that the collection of samples and lab results are provided back to the client and uploaded to the system within an agreed timeframe.
  • Obtaining all technical information and providing a technical sales quote to the client
  • Working alongside the companies depot and company suppliers to ensure the best value options are provided to the clients for their hazardous waste requirements.
  • Offering first class hazardous waste advice to clients as well as providing a fantastic level of customer service.
  • Ensuring that personal KPI’s and targets are met
  • Liaising with external stakeholders, account managers and suppliers to ensure a smooth process across the board.

 

This role will be predominantly based from home, however there is the option to work from an office in various locations around the UK – please only apply if this is suitable.

 

Skills & Qualifications

We are looking for someone with the following:

 

  • A relevant qualification in a chemistry is essential
  • Experience of working within hazardous waste

In this role your responsibilities will be:
  • Oversee the commercial and contractual management of projects from inception through to completion working in conjunction with the project delivery teams ensuring alignment to business objectives and goals.
  • Managing a team of Contract Managers, Quantity Surveyors and a Contract Support Administrator and ensuring they fully fulfil their role and responsibilities.

The Candidate:

•    Experience within utilities and construction. •    Experience providing advice to the following CDM Duty Holders; Principal Contractor, Contractor and Designers.  •    A proactive self-starter comfortable working in an environment in which no two days are the same. •    Ideally NEBOSH/NCRQ Certificate (or equivalent) and relevant membership of IOSH at Technical Membership Grade.  •    Experience of integrated Management Systems i.e. ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001. •    A collaborative working style with strong communication skills. •    Clean UK driving Licence.

Job Role and key responsibilities
