Alliance Industrial Solutions has partnered with a leading photo imaging and information delivery solutions company and is looking for day shift and night shift Machine Operators and Attendants!  These are full time positions in Concord, NC

Shift: 6am-6pm 2-2-3 schedule

            6pm-6am Mon-Thu Pay: $16 - $17/hr        

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• To set up and operate slitting machines according to the appropriate “machine operator’s manual” under direction of the Group Leader.
• Carry and supply materials to the machines.
• Remove the finished product from the machine. Supplies and finished goods of up to 38 lbs. must be lifted about 75 times per shift. (Maximum weight to be lifted is 50lbs.)
• Group Leaders will determine the machine each operator is assigned to. Operators will be cross trained to operate different machines.
• Recommend productivity improvement plans and cost reduction plans (Total Productive Maintenance activity). Investigate and analyze causes of target frustration.
• Help train other machine operators.
• Facilitate internal communication and working relationships within areas of responsibility.

3 different machines in slitting

• Paper slitting- 2 people on team, bagging rolls and putting on pallet
• Photo slitting- rolls of ink paper, opportunity for $5 increase after 3 months if meet quota
• Card Slitting- smaller rolls and have to put caps on both ends after slit

QUALIFICATIONS:

• 6 months of machine operation experience required.
• Must be able to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Must be able to enter production data into a computer.
• Must be able to work 12 hour shifts.
• Production line experience in manufacturing.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. repeatedly throughout shift.
• Ability to maintain a good working relationship with fellow co-workers.

What You'll Do In the Warehouse:

• Assist in cutting and sizing materials for production
• Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards
• Affix labels, logos, and other branding to products
• Pack and prepare completed items for shipment
• Organize merchandise by size, shape, and type for easy storage
• Prepare and load orders for delivery using the appropriate equipment
• Record and manage any damaged or impaired merchandise

What You'll Do In Sewing:

• Operate and industrial styled sewing machine
• Perform serging and over-edging
• Operate and maintain sewing machines and related parts
• Change needles, threads, and bobbins
• Inspect and repair finished products as needed and make machine adjustments to compensate for errors or quality issues
• Troubleshoot fundamental machinery problems and request service or repairs as needed

What You'll Do In Print:

• Maintain and operate industrial size digital textile printers
• Responsible for overall maintaining of printers, including starting and stopping of printers
• Responsible for general printer cleaning and maintenance
• Responsible for detecting defects during printing production
• Responsible for learning the designs that are printed for defect detection

What We’re Looking For:

• Previous experience operating a forklift (warehouse only)
• Previous machine operating experience is a plus
• Previous manufacturing or warehouse experience is a plus, but not required
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs
• Ability to sit or stand for extended periods while operating machines or equipment
• Good hand/eye coordination
• Must be 18+ and legally authorized to work in the USA

The Welder/Fabricator will be responsible for producing high-quality welded components while adhering to safety standards and project specifications.. The Welder/Fabricator will have experience in various welding techniques and fabrication processes, particularly in a construction site environment. This role requires proficiency in working with sheet metal and the ability to operate power tools, plasma cutting equipment, and forklifts. This is a full time, first shift position located in Charlotte, NC.  

Responsibilities:

• Fabricate and weld metal components based on blueprints and specifications.
• Operate plasma cutters and power tools to shape and prepare materials.
• Perform stick welding and FCAW (Flux-Cored Arc Welding) for metal assembly.
• Inspect finished products using calipers and other measuring tools to ensure accuracy.
• Collaborate with team members on construction site projects to meet deadlines.
• Safely operate forklifts and cranes for material handling.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Fabricator/Welder or in a similar role on construction sites.
• Skilled in sheet metal fabrication and welding techniques, including stick and FCAW welding.
• Proficient with power tools, plasma cutting equipment, forklifts, and cranes.
• Strong attention to detail and basic math skills for accurate measurements.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
• Excellent problem-solving skills; able to work independently and in a team.
• Strong commitment to workplace safety protocols and standards.

Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Accounts Receivable Invoicing Specialist to join our finance team. This individual will be responsible for managing the end-to-end invoicing process, resolving billing discrepancies, and collaborating with multiple departments to ensure accurate and timely billing. If you're a self-starter with a strong attention to detail and a collaborative mindset, we’d love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities:

Daily Invoicing:

• Collect and review daily shipping documentation
• Prepare and validate shipping batches for completeness and accuracy
• Enter data into the ERP system and generate invoices
• Submit invoices for approval and post approved batches
• Upload invoices to customer websites and attach necessary documentation (e.g., PODs)
• Scan and archive invoices and shipping documents
• Create miscellaneous invoices and credits as requested by Sales and Customer Service
• Maintain Excel spreadsheets tracking monthly billed invoices

Invoicing Exceptions:

• Research and resolve invoicing issues or discrepancies
• Review and submit credits/invoices generated by others for approval
• Communicate with internal teams to gather missing information for invoicing
