Pay: $17/hr (increases to $19.25 after approximately 90 days) Shift: 6am-4pm Mon-Thu            4pm-2am Mon-Thu You may work occasional overtime   Responsible for operating rewind and finishing equipment to inspect and slit and finish labels to customer specifications.  Assists Press Operators to produce quality labels and products according to order specifications.  

 Basic Function/Summary:

• Reads order specifications, sets up rewind and finishing equipment to finish product and pack for shipment to customers.
• Works with Operators and Quality to ensure that production has manufactured quality labels.
• Ensure core tags and rewind position are as required by order.
• Ensure proper splice.
• Apply knowledge to check orders and ensure that all press work is up to company and customer quality specifications.
• Packs product according to specifications.
• Assist operators with make ready and wash ups.
• Communicates effectively with all manufacturing personnel.
• Works overtime as needed.
• Performs other related duties as directed.
• Attend monthly safety meetings and observe all safety policies and procedures. 
• Must be trained to successfully run both Rotoflex and Roto-Control , maintaining good quality.

 

 Essential Functions include the following:

• Have good visual acuity and be able to discriminate colors.
• Required color blindness testing.
• Must be able to stoop, bend, reach and squat.
• Stand for long periods of time.
• Lift up to 15-25 lbs. on a repeated basis, and up to 50 lbs. occasionally  

Qualifications:

• HS Diploma or GED 
• 3+ months Machine Operator experience needed
• 1+ year of manufacturing experience preferred
• Intermediate basic math skills. 
• Must have the ability to navigate the computer programs utilized on the production floor. 
• Training and/or exposure to Lean /5S and Process Improvement is a plus. 

 

Skills/Aptitudes:

• Must be able to document and present information on production 
• Must have the ability to work cooperatively with co-workers and all levels of management 
• Must work on a regular and predictable basis in an alert & safe manner.

Working Conditions/Environment:

• While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be near moving mechanical parts; and exposed to non-hazardous ink vapors.

Alliance Industrial Solutions has partnered with a leading photo imaging and information delivery solutions company and is looking for day shift and night shift Machine Operators and Attendants!  These are full time positions in Concord, NC

Shift: 6am-6pm 2-2-3 schedule

            6pm-6am Mon-Thu Pay: $16 - $18/hr        

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• To set up and operate slitting machines according to the appropriate “machine operator’s manual” under direction of the Group Leader.
• Carry and supply materials to the machines.
• Remove the finished product from the machine. Supplies and finished goods of up to 38 lbs. must be lifted about 75 times per shift. (Maximum weight to be lifted is 50lbs.)
• Group Leaders will determine the machine each operator is assigned to. Operators will be cross trained to operate different machines.
• Recommend productivity improvement plans and cost reduction plans (Total Productive Maintenance activity). Investigate and analyze causes of target frustration.
• Help train other machine operators.
• Facilitate internal communication and working relationships within areas of responsibility.

3 different machines in slitting

• Paper slitting- 2 people on team, bagging rolls and putting on pallet
• Photo slitting- rolls of ink paper, opportunity for $5 increase after 3 months if meet quota
• Card Slitting- smaller rolls and have to put caps on both ends after slit

QUALIFICATIONS:

• 6 months of machine operation experience required.
• Must be able to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Must be able to enter production data into a computer.
• Must be able to work 12 hour shifts.
• Production line experience in manufacturing.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. repeatedly throughout shift.
• Ability to maintain a good working relationship with fellow co-workers.

Location: Salisbury, NC Schedule: Full-Time, First Shift  Hours: 8am-5pm Mon-Fri Pay: $18/hr

In this role, you will prepare voucher paperwork, mail packets to offshore associates, track packet status, and ensure audits are completed for all vouchers. This role is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing machinery, equipment, and facility systems to ensure safe and efficient operations.  This is a full time night shift position located in Concord, NC

Shift: 6pm - 6am (2-2-3 rotation) Pay: $27-$28/hr BOE  

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform preventive maintenance on production machines, conveyor systems, and facility equipment.

• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and other equipment issues.

• Use blueprints, manufacturer specifications, and wiring diagrams to identify and resolve problems.

• Fabricate and repair parts using machine shop tools and instruments.

• Install, adjust, and maintain electrical equipment including wiring, motors, and switches.

• Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical problems quickly to minimize downtime.

• Complete work order repairs and prepare shift reports for management.

• Follow all safety requirements, including proper use of PPE and HazWoper training.

Position overview: As a Material Handler, you will support a broad range of activities in a dynamic, high energy warehouse environment providing all material to production departments for manufacturing the best rail vehicles in the world. Responsibilities:

• Specific area or responsibility may include receiving, put away, picking, kitting, or delivery of material to production.

• Ensure transactional accuracy for all material movements - i.e. ensure the correct quantity of material is moved to the specified location, and MRP system transactions are completed correctly.

• Ensure all material is properly identified with appropriate labels and part numbers.

• Carefully handle material to prevent any damage during handling in the warehouse or delivery to production.

• Immediately notify supervisor of any quality or delivery issues

• Use of powered industrial vehicles in the movement of material. Certification for use of some tools and equipment may be required, such as crane, forklift, order picker, scissor lift, and fall protection equipment.

• Meet production schedule for material delivery to production.

• Explain warehouse procedures and processes to fellow workers.

• Follow all safety requirements, including use of all required personal protective equipment (PPE). Contribute to and maintain conditions that ensure a healthy and safe work environment.

Requirements:

• High school education or GED

• 2 years previous experience in a warehouse environment

• Monitor point-of-sale (POS) transactions across all Brands using the Exception Based Reporting Tool (EBR) to identify loss patterns and behavior anomalies.
• Analyze pharmacy inventory activities—including transfers and shipments—using Pin-Point Audit and collaborate with the Pharmacy Team to verify discrepancies.
• Review CCTV footage to support investigations and validate suspicious activities impacting brand profitability.
