Alliance Industrial Solutions has partnered with a local company specializing in Fuel, Oil and Water Connection Systems, Tubing and Electrical harnesses for all forms of industries, but focusing on racing and aerospace applications.  We are looking for a Quality Control Inspector!

Shift: 8am-5pm Mon-Fri

Pay $22/hr

Job Description:

The Quality Control Inspector is responsible for inspecting and testing products and overseeing operations for the company to ensure they meet production standards, product specifications, and they can work in any industry that involves production and assembly.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Undertakes inspections according to our inspection and control plans.
  • Documents inspection results.
  • Identifies, sets aside and documents all suspect or defective products.
  • Returns products for repair; confirm repairs and product quality.
  • Operates precise instruments for measuring; maintains and repairs instruments as necessary.
  • Runs statistical studies such as reproducibility and capability.
  • Communicates visual and dimensional product quality standards to line operators.
  • Maintains and updates quality inspector records.

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Ability to read and understand blueprints and schematics.
  • Detail-oriented and consistent.
  • Works well as a productive member of a team, in a fast-paced environment.
  • Basic ability in mathematics, reading, or writing.
  • Literacy in Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Ability to tell colors apart and good vision.
  • Excellent communication skills with everyone involved in the process (managers, operators and leads).
  • Excellent decision-making skills.
  • Must be able to stand, walk, and perform repetitive tasks for the entire shift
  • Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds at a time.
  • Must have manual dexterity in order to assemble products as directed.
  • Must have excellent hand-eye coordination.
  • Ability to differentiate between colored wires, tabs and electronic components

Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 3+ years experience in assembly and manufacturing operations.
  • Experience in the assembly and manufacturing of hose, tube or electrical products.
  • Experience with wiring in the automotive industry
  • ISO9001 or AS9100D experience is preferred.
