Alliance Industrial Solutions has partnered with a local county government and we are seeking a Spanish to English Interpreter for a medical facility.

Pay: $20/hr Schedule: Monday - Thursday 8:00am - 5:00pm

Job Description: We are seeking a Spanish to English Interpreter to assist in facilitating clear and effective communication between Spanish-speaking patients and English-speaking medical staff at our healthcare facility. The interpreter will be responsible for translating spoken communication during appointments, ensuring that both patients and healthcare providers understand each other clearly and accurately.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide accurate and clear interpretation between Spanish-speaking patients and English-speaking healthcare providers.

  • Interpret medical terminology and ensure that information is conveyed correctly to both parties.

  • Assist with intake processes, medical history gathering, and any patient concerns or questions.

  • Facilitate communication during medical examinations, diagnoses, treatment plans, and follow-up care.

  • Maintain patient confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA and other privacy regulations.

  • Ensure a culturally sensitive approach to communication, respecting patients' backgrounds and needs.

  • Provide support to medical staff with any translations needed for documents, forms, or instructions.

Requirements:

  • Fluent in both Spanish and English (spoken and written).

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to remain neutral, impartial, and objective during interpretation.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

  • Detail-oriented with the ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.

Preferred Experience:

  • Additional certification or education in medical interpreting is a plus.

  • Experience with translation of medical documents or forms.

  • Proven experience as an interpreter, preferably in a medical or healthcare setting.

  • Knowledge of medical terminology in both languages.
