• Managing contractors/Essential personnel
• Mostly out on the floor with the equipment, more hardware than software
• Responsible for planning, implementation, and standardization of building controls utilizing self, team, and contractor abilities.
• Direct site building control related activities, through team members and contractors, to meet site needs (e.g. controls upgrade and replacements, programming optimization, standardization, and operations enhancements).
• Ensures controls architecture consistency between sites and analyses technology trends.
• Project Engineer with capabilities to implement and communicate an operational plan for completing a project, monitor progress and performance against the project plan; resolve operational problems, minimize delays, identify, develop and gather necessary resources to complete the project.
• Design systems, develop schedules, budget and forecasts, select materials, equipment, project staff and contractors
• Manage BMS (Building Management System) specification, design, and operation. Develop and implement multiyear strategy to complete BMS migration.
• Collaborate with HDMA Facilities controls leaders to standardize a unified approach.
• Manage and oversee programming and work with IT networking team to optimize network and manage server applications. 
• Direct and collaborate with the site representatives to ensure consistency and optimal system performance.
• Present updates and core functionality to leaders. Manage periodic updates and maintenance of system.
• Manage submission of yearly planning requirement documentation and create the planning documents for budgeting and approval events.
• Create roles and responsibility documents for quick reference and management of change. 
• Support FAC Operations with mechanical/electrical/controls design and specification. 
• Apply analytical and trouble shooting skills to minimize mean time to recovery.
• Support operation of Facilities mechanical systems including but not limited to centrifugal fans, burners, cooling/heating coils, pumps, centrifugal air compressors, centrifugal chillers, heat exchangers, utilities, metering, communications. 
• Manage and maintain documentation for the site controls systems.
• Communicate critical updates to site system operators. 
• Train FAC Associates on enhancements to operations related to controls and mechanical/electrical systems.  Provide support on an as-needed basis.  Ensure reference documentation is available and easily accessed. 
• Create scope documents based on unit/department project requirements. 
• Manage and/or support the bidding, evaluation, and selection process of contractors for the design and construction of Facilities and department led projects. 
• Create project budgets and ensure accuracy; supervise engineers and on-site contractors.
• Determine and prioritize project tasks and develop project schedule and timelines in order to achieve project's final goals on time and within budget.

Faculties Equipment Engineer Job Requirements As a Faculties Equipment Engineer you must represent our company well by being responsible, punctual and motivated to go above and beyond the call of duty. • Understand Controls (MIS) (networking) IT networking proficient

• Work with departments outside of facilities on planned and unplanned projects requiring electrical equipment modification to help improve production process, equipment efficiency, safety, reliability, and delivery. • Manage metering instrumentation and utilities monitoring system hardware (device specification, installation, programming, integration, and lifecycle management) and software (server/database management, software, licensing, IT liaison, and maintenance), as well as support contract management for all sites. Additionally, act as site subject matter expert for all data analysis and aggregation supporting quantitative analysis of environmental initiatives and annual site department budgeting. 15%
• Implement new engineering strategies and technologies to replace facilities equipment and systems at their end of life (EOL). Manage testing, planning, and maintenance of 40-100 MVA electrical distribution system from 138 kV to 120 V. %10
• Lead and/or support in the bidding, evaluation, and selection process of contractors for the design and construction phase of a project. Review, verify and approve engineering/design drawings at the various design completion levels. Determine and prioritize project tasks and develop project schedule and timelines in order to achieve project's final goals on time and within budget. Generate projects' progress tracking and control documents, maintain an organized project file, present and update facility and plant management on project progress and results.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent combination of education and/or engineering experience
• 2- 6 years of relevant working experience in Electrical Engineering.
• Knowledge of: National Electrical Code (NFPA 70); Electrical power distribution components and systems.
• Familiar with Schneider Electric EcoStruxure Power Monitoring Expert

• Contract Administration: Experience in contract review and approval, ensuring compliance with procurement policies.

• Data Analysis: Proficiency in data analysis, with experience in tools like Excel, Google Sheets, and Alteryx.
• Communication & Collaboration: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with experience in cross-functional collaboration.
• Adaptability and Agility: Ability to learn and take on additional responsibilities as the procurement team grows, agility to switch tasks according priorities
• 1-3 years of procurement or analytical work experience.
