  • Driving a state vehicle to deliver and collect mail, supplies, and equipment safely and reliably.
  • Assisting with supply ordering, inventory tracking, and communicating with vendors to ensure stock levels.
  • Receiving, inspecting, and verifying incoming shipments against invoices.
  • Loading and unloading boxes, organizing storage areas, and maintaining inventory systems.
  • Assembling and disassembling furniture and performing minor repairs as needed.
  • Operating mailroom and warehouse equipment, including labeling and inserting machines.

What You'll Bring

The ideal candidate for this role will have:
  • Ability to work comfortably in a loud environment.
  • Basic computer skills for inventory and communication tasks.
  • Physical strength to lift and maneuver up to 50 lbs regularly, and occasionally up to 70 lbs, while standing for long periods.
  • A valid Oregon Driver’s License with a clean driving record.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Location & Schedule:
  • This is an on-site, temporary position based in Salem, OR. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, designed for consistent work hours to support your work-life balance.
