What We’re Looking For:

A Day in the Life:

As a Radiology Scheduler, you’ll be the first point of contact for patients. Your main role is to:
  • Schedule clinic, imaging, and pre-op appointments across multiple locations
  • Handle a high volume of patient calls and provide clear communication
  • Work with Nurse Practitioners and providers to coordinate care
  • Upload radiology images into PACS and keep medical records organized
  • Support clinic operations by ensuring smooth scheduling and patient flow

Required Education: 
  • High School Diploma or GED and 2 years of college Required 
Experience:
  •  Minimum of 2 years college education in biology or related field plus 3 years of experience in a life science or chemistry laboratory, or 4 years college education plus 1 year laboratory experience
  • Hands-on experience with sample handling, quantitative chemical analysis, enzyme assays, or procedures with equivalent complexity,
  • Experience with basic procedures such as weight and volume measurements of chemicals, reagent preparation, pipetting and centrifugation.
Responsibilities:
  • Prepare clinical samples and products for testing, including accessioning and processing, following laboratory protocols.
  • Examples: Requires strong attention to detail to find discrepancies or missing information. Requires strict adherence to written laboratory procedures.
  • Set up instruments (programming instructions, specimen and reagent placement, and labware) for automated laboratory tasks.
  • Maintain instruments, including reagent replenishment, cleaning, and other required actions.
  • Prepare reagents for the lab, as requested. Change equipment supplies when needed.
  • Document and transcribe quality control measures, including environmental readings for lab, equipment function checks, and isolation quality control.
