Position Overview for the NoSQL Database Administrator:

  • Own operational support and lifecycle management for DynamoDB and DAX environments supporting mission-critical applications.
  • Partner with application teams to design and validate data models, access patterns, and partition strategies.
  • Manage capacity planning, autoscaling, and cost optimization for NoSQL environments.
  • Support and tune DAX clusters, including cache behavior, failover, and performance validation.
  • Implement security controls, monitor environments using CloudWatch and Datadog, and support incident response efforts.
