Position Overview/Responsibilities for the Communication Analyst 3:Oversee cabling installation projects across citywide facilities
Manage vendors responsible for pulling and installing cables in office spaces
Respond to requests from customers or facilities teams regarding new installations
Travel to different sites using Metro vehicles (training provided)
Ensure quality control of cabling infrastructure by onsite vendor supervision
Work closely with senior team members for training and support
This is a contract-to-hire position with a 6-month initial term
Required Skills for Communication Analyst 3:
Experience in cabling installation or IT is highly desirable
Knowledge of BICSI (Building Industry Consulting Service International) Wiring Standards
Experience in managing low voltage vendors
Demonstrated understanding of the design and implementation of structured cabling solutions including fiber optic and copper departmental moves
Experience with outside plant cabling including aerial
Experience working with UPSs
