Position Overview/Responsibilities for the Sr EHS Manager:
Develop, implement, and enforce comprehensive EHS procedures, programs, and processes in alignment with regulatory and company requirements
Lead and create synergies for environmental, safety, and health matters across the site, managing EHS professionals
Conduct EHS audits/inspections, and lead safety/security projects based on identified budget to address risk reduction and compliance assurance
Oversee contractor safety, ensuring all external partners adhere to our client's EHS standards
Lead incident investigations, develop injury prevention plans, and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence
Required Skills for Sr EHS Manager:
Minimum of 10 years of EHS experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment
At least 7 years in a leadership/management role
Bachelor's degree in Science, Safety, Engineering, or a similar field
Strong leadership skills and the ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders
Experience in developing and managing EHS programs, handling worker's compensation claims, and ensuring compliance with OSHA and environmental regulations
