Pharmacist – Float

HealthCare Support is currently interviewing for a permanent Float Pharmacist role. This position offers career growth opportunities, strong benefits, and the stability of a trusted national employer while serving multiple communities in Lawrenceburg, KY.

Pay Details:
  • Hourly Rate: $65.00 an hour - $69.00 an hour based on experience
Schedule: Flexible options: 5x8-hour shifts or 4x10-hour shifts Most locations are open: 
  • Weekdays – Open from 8 a.m. – 8 p.m.
  • Saturday – Open from 9 a.m. – 6 p.m.
  • Sundays – Open from 10a.m. – 5p.m.
Required Qualifications for the Float Pharmacist:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy
  • Current pharmacist licensure in good standing

Daily Responsibilities for the Float Pharmacist:
  • Accurately fill prescriptions and provide patient counseling
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal pharmacy laws (including HIPAA)
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and professional pharmacy environment
  • Oversee inventory, stock replenishment, and record keeping for controlled substances
  • Administer vaccines and provide patient education to ensure medication adherence
  • Support and guide pharmacy technicians
  • Use proprietary pharmacy systems to manage prescriptions and patient care
