HealthCare Support is actively seeking a NICU Nurse Practitioner or Physician's Assistant to fill an opening in Southwest Florida. Daily Responsibilities for the NICU Nurse Practitioner:
  • The Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP) collaborates with physicians to oversee the care of high-risk newborns and infants, particularly those with life-threatening or complex conditions that demand continuous observation.
  • NNPs offer hands-on care by conducting physical exams, reviewing test results, diagnosing health issues, and maintaining detailed patient records through EMR.
  • NNPs carry out medical procedures within their expertise and training, ensuring that critically ill infants receive the best possible care.
  • Shift: 24 hours: 8:00 AM - 8:00 PM  

Required Qualifications for the NICU Nurse Practitioner:

  • Masters Degree
  • 2+ years of experience as an NP in the NICU

Daily Responsibilities for the DME Specialist - Respiratory Therapist or Licensed Practical Nurse:
  • Setting up non-invasive vents, CPAP/BiPAP equipment, nebulizers, and oxygen equipment in office, in home, and in facility environments
  • Provide patient and family education and clinical guidance on disease progression
  • Shift: Monday - Friday, 8:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
Required Qualifications for the DME Specialist - Respiratory Therapist or Licensed Practical Nurse:
  • Must be a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Respiratory Therapist in the state of OR
  • Must have 1+ year(s) of clinical experience
  • Must have active driver’s license in the state of OR and reliable form of transportation
  • Must be professional, caring, and compassionate
  • Strong computer skills w/ MS Office Suite
Preferred Qualifications for the DME Specialist - Respiratory Therapist or Licensed Practical Nurse:

Daily Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for maintaining sterility, assisting in pre-operative tasks, intra-operative support, and aiding in post-operative cleanup, managing laparoscopic equipment maintenance, and fostering communication with colleagues and hospital staff
  • Availability for 24/7 hospital coverage including weekday, weekend, and holiday rotational scheduled and on-call shifts

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma/GED required
  • Certified Registered Central Sterile Technician (CRCST) for certified states
  • 1+ year(s) of Operating Room experience or 2+ years of customer service
