Fluoroscopy Radiology Technician  HealthCare Support is actively seeking a Fluoroscopy Radiology Technician  to fill an opening with a Managed Care Organization in Memphis, TN. Daily Responsibilities for Fluoroscopy Radiology Technician:

• Primary duty will be working in the block room, with occasional floating to the OR (if the candidate is comfortable)
• C-Arms will be used to guide treatments such as implants or injections, or in orthopedic surgery. It helps the healthcare provider look inside organs, joints, muscles, and bones
• The ASC Radiology Technician performs radiographic, fluoroscopic, and other diagnostic imaging procedures to assist physicians in the diagnosis of diseases and injuries. An individual must be able to perform each essential responsibility satisfactorily. These requirements are representative, but not all-inclusive, of the knowledge, skill, and ability required of the position. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. 
• Prepare and position patient for diagnostic imaging procedures, explain procedures to patient to reduce anxieties as needed 
• Adjust immobilization devices to obtain optimum views of specified area of body requested by physician

Required Qualifications for Fluoroscopy Radiology Technician:

• High School Diploma or GED
• 1+ year of experience
• ARRT Certification 
• TN State License 
• C-Arm experience

Preferred Qualifications for Fluoroscopy Radiology Technician:

• Neuro and/or pain block experience (epidural or nerve)
