Clinical Operations Associate Medical Director HealthCare Support is actively seeking a Clinical Operations Associate Medical Director to fill an opening. Daily Responsibilities for Clinical Operations Associate Medical Director:

• Responsible for supporting the medical management staff ensuring timely and consistent medical decisions to members and providers.
• Makes physician to physician calls to gather medical appropriate information in order to make medical necessity determinations for services requested.
• Makes medical necessity determinations for grievance and appeals appropriate for their specialty.
• Monday to Friday 9AM - 5:30PM / Remote

Required Qualifications for Clinical Operations Associate Medical Director:

• Requires MD or DO degree
• Active and unrestricted medical license in the state they reside in
• Board certification by one of these boards: American Board of Medical Specialties (ABMS) or American Osteopathic Association (AOA).

Preferred Qualifications for Clinical Operations Associate Medical Director:

• Prior experience in Utilization Management (UM), health plan medical management, or managed care
