Clinical Operations Associate Medical Director
HealthCare Support is actively seeking a
Clinical Operations Associate Medical Director to fill an opening.
Daily Responsibilities for Clinical Operations Associate Medical Director:
- Responsible for supporting the medical management staff ensuring timely and consistent medical decisions to members and providers.
- Makes physician to physician calls to gather medical appropriate information in order to make medical necessity determinations for services requested.
- Makes medical necessity determinations for grievance and appeals appropriate for their specialty.

Monday to Friday 9AM - 5:30PM / Remote
Required Qualifications for Clinical Operations Associate Medical Director:
- Requires MD or DO degree
- Active and unrestricted medical license in the state they reside in
- Board certification by one of these boards: American Board of Medical Specialties (ABMS) or American Osteopathic Association (AOA).
Preferred Qualifications for Clinical Operations Associate Medical Director:
- Prior experience in Utilization Management (UM), health plan medical management, or managed care

Pay Details: $91.82 - $122.43/ Hour
