Role responsibilities and key skills for the role:Act as the primary Document Controller, managing the full lifecycle of project documentation within the ProjectWise system, ensuring accurate storage, version control, and easy retrieval
Maintain and administer Health & Safety (H&S) files, ensuring all documentation is compliant, current, and aligned with internal procedures and industry standards
Control document workflows including naming conventions, versioning, approvals, and distribution, maintaining document integrity at all times
Liaise with project teams, engineers, contractors, and external stakeholders to collect, issue, track, and update required project and H&S documentation

The Mechanical Fitters mate position comes with a flat hourly rate from £20.00 to £24.00 CIS. Role responsibilities and key skills for the role:• Assist Mechanical Fitters and Platers with the completion of mechanical and structural punch list items, ensuring works are carried out safely and efficiently.
• Prepare tools, equipment, materials and work areas to support mechanical installation, maintenance and repair activities.
• Support the assembly, installation and removal of mechanical components, steelwork, supports and associated plant equipment under supervision.
• Carry out general labouring duties, housekeeping and site cleanliness activities to maintain a safe and organised working environment.

The day rate for the SAP position is from £500.00 to £550.00 per day outside of IR35. Role responsibilities and key skills for the role:Act as the SAP for 11kV systems under company and DNO/IDNO authorisation.
Carry out switching operations, issue safety documents (PTW, SFT, LOA), and ensure all HV works are executed safely.
Supervise and coordinate HV commissioning activities, including protection testing, cable terminations, and system energisation.
Liaise with project managers, design engineers, and client representatives to ensure HV milestones are achieved.
Ensure all work is carried out in line with statutory regulations, industry standards, and internal HSEQ policies.
Maintain up-to-date HV records, test results, and safety documentation.
Provide technical leadership and mentoring to junior engineers and site operatives.
Lead fault-finding and diagnostics where required
Current and valid SAP authorisation up to 11kV (from a DNO, IDNO, or reputable private network).

The 400kv SAP' positions comes with a salary from £120,000 to £130,000 plus a competitive benefits package Role responsibilities and key skills for the role:• Manage and carry out day-to-day Senior Authorised Person (SAP) duties across 400kV onshore wind projects in Montrose and Ramsgate, ensuring all HV activities are completed safely and in accordance with site Electrical Safety Rules.
• Take responsibility for the safe operation, control and coordination of HV electrical systems, including substations, transformers, switchgear, protection systems, cables and associated Balance of Plant equipment.
• Plan, prepare, review and execute HV switching schedules and switching programmes, ensuring all switching activities are completed safely and in line with operational requirements and planned works.
• Manage the application and removal of safety precautions, including isolations, earthing and proving dead, ensuring electrical systems are made safe prior to work commencing.
• Issue, manage, suspend and cancel Safety Documents, including Permits-to-Work, Sanctions-for-Test and Limitations-of-Access, in accordance with the project Electrical Safety Rules.
• Review and approve RAMS, switching schedules, isolation plans and supporting documentation for HV activities, ensuring works can be carried out safely and without impacting wider site operations.
• Coordinate daily HV activities across the wind farm, working closely with site management, engineers, technicians, contractors and the wider operations team to manage priorities and ensure safe delivery of planned works.
• Manage HV access requirements and coordinate contractors and authorised personnel carrying out works on or around the 400kV electrical systems.
• Carry out site inspections, safety audits and operational checks to ensure HV equipment, substations and associated electrical infrastructure remain compliant with project procedures and Electrical Safety Rules.
• Respond to HV faults, trips and electrical system issues, leading fault finding activities, coordinating investigations and ensuring electrical systems are safely restored to service.
• Coordinate planned and unplanned outages, ensuring switching activities, isolations, resources and contractor requirements are effectively managed to minimise disruption to site operations.

We are currently recruiting for a Lead Mechanical Commissioning Engineer to join their Combined Cycle Gas Turbine plant based in Adamow, Poland.
The Lead Mechanical Commissioning Engineer position comes with a day rate from €500.00 to €550.00 per day outside of IR35. Role responsibilities and key skills for the role:• Lead and coordinate all mechanical commissioning activities associated with the CCGT power plant, ensuring safe, efficient and timely delivery in line with the overall commissioning programme and key project milestones.
• Develop, review and execute detailed mechanical commissioning plans, procedures and system turnover strategies, ensuring activities are correctly sequenced and aligned with the wider project commissioning schedule.
• Lead the pre-commissioning and commissioning of major mechanical plant and systems, including gas turbines, steam turbines, HRSGs, steam and condensate systems, feedwater systems, cooling water systems, fuel gas systems and associated Balance of Plant equipment.
• Take ownership of mechanical system readiness, ensuring construction completion, mechanical completion, punch list close-out and system handover activities are effectively managed prior to commissioning.
• Coordinate mechanical commissioning interfaces across process, electrical, C&I and DCS systems, working closely with discipline leads to ensure systems and plant are available in accordance with the commissioning sequence.
• Lead commissioning activities including flushing, blowing, chemical cleaning, pressure testing, leak testing, equipment alignment, lubrication, rotation checks and functional testing of mechanical systems and equipment.
• Manage and coordinate OEMs, subcontractors and specialist vendors during commissioning activities, ensuring works are completed safely and in accordance with project specifications, commissioning procedures and agreed schedules.
• Provide technical leadership during the commissioning of rotating equipment, including pumps, compressors, fans, gas turbines, steam turbines and associated auxiliary systems.
• Drive fault finding, troubleshooting and root cause analysis across mechanical systems, coordinating corrective actions and ensuring defects are resolved without impacting key commissioning milestones.
• Review and approve mechanical commissioning documentation, including commissioning procedures, ITPs, test packs, system dossiers, vendor documentation, punch lists and redline drawings, ensuring full traceability and readiness for handover.
• Ensure strict compliance with Permit-to-Work, LOTO and project HSE procedures throughout all mechanical commissioning activities, promoting a strong safety culture across the commissioning team.
• Monitor commissioning progress against the project schedule, identifying potential delays, resource constraints and system interface issues, and implementing recovery plans where required.
• Support major project milestones including first fire, steam blows, steam turbine roll, synchronisation, load testing, reliability runs and performance testing through to successful plant handover.
• Lead and mentor Mechanical Commissioning Engineers and Technicians, allocating resources and coordinating daily activities to ensure commissioning priorities and project milestones are achieved.
• Provide regular progress updates to the Commissioning Manager and senior project stakeholders, clearly communicating mechanical system status, risks, constraints, outstanding works and commissioning priorities.
