The CX Engineer position come with a day rate from €650.00 to €750.00 per day AOR / EOR. Accommodation will be provided. Role responsibilities and key skills for the role:  

• Support pre-commissioning, commissioning and start-up activities across the data centre project.
• Complete and maintain system and equipment test packs and commissioning documentation.
• Ensure project quality and commissioning databases are accurate and kept up to date.
• Assist with the preparation of commissioning execution plans, schedules and testing programmes.
• Prepare pre-commissioning and commissioning procedures alongside specialist vendors and suppliers.
• Coordinate with vendors and subcontractors during commissioning and testing activities.
• Review performance test procedures, operating manuals and associated technical documentation.
• Liaise with AP and Testing teams ahead of functional switching and electrical energisations.
• Support system walkdowns, tagging, testing and final handover activities.
• Assist with the supervision and completion of performance testing where required.
• Ensure testing, scripts, certification and handover documentation are completed correctly.
• Assist with the preparation of final commissioning reports and certificates.
• Attend project, commissioning and subcontractor meetings as required.
• Work closely with the QA, construction, testing and commissioning teams throughout project delivery.
• Provide site support across Belgium, Ireland and mainland Europe where required.

• Lead and support New Product Introduction and Advanced Product Quality Planning activities from feasibility through to volume production, ensuring all milestones and deliverables are achieved on time.

• Act as a key quality interface within cross-functional project teams, embedding nuclear safety culture and “right first time” principles throughout the programme lifecycle.

• Compile, review and submit comprehensive PPAP documentation, typically Level 3, ensuring full compliance with customer, regulatory and internal requirements prior to production release.

• Manage customer, supplier and internal non-conformances, driving timely containment, robust root cause analysis and effective corrective and preventative actions.

• Lead internal, external and supplier audits, including oversight of Special Processes such as welding and NDE, and conduct Launch Readiness Reviews to confirm manufacturing and supply chain capability.

• Ensure full product traceability and compliance documentation throughout manufacture, including Lifetime Records, material certification to BS EN 10204 3.1, and CFSI mitigation.

• Develop, maintain and validate Control Plans across prototype, pre-production and production phases, supported by Run@Rate trials and process capability studies.

• Collaborate closely with customers and suppliers to resolve quality issues, protect the build process from non-compliant parts and agree compliant disposition routes.

  Professional qualifications   We're looking for someone with the following:

• Engineering qualification (apprenticeship, HNC or degree) is desirable.

• Formal training in Quality Management System auditing techniques.

• Extensive working knowledge of APQP and PPAP within a regulated manufacturing environment.

• Strong capability in core quality tools including FMEA, MSA and SPC.

• Proven experience with statistical analysis and process validation techniques.

• Practical experience applying root cause analysis methodologies such as 8D, 5 Whys and Fishbone diagrams.

• Strong IT skills, particularly Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook, with experience of statistical software such as Minitab being advantageous.

• Experience or knowledge of Special Processes, particularly welding (MIG/TIG, stainless steel and aluminium alloys) and robotic welding.

The Job

Working as the Analytical Chemist, you will be responsible for:

• Performing various analytical tests on waste samples coming onto site.
• Running and maintaining instrumentation within the Laboratory, including GC-MS/FID and ICP-OES.
• Ensuring all work complies with relevant HSE, Quality, Regulatory and Accreditation standards (UKAS, ISO 17025).
• Sample preparation, extraction and clean-up using various techniques.
• Calculation of results from testing and data entry into the company system.
• Performing daily checks including balances, pipettes and instruments.
• Sampling of incoming waste streams for compliance.
• Work with senior teams to ensure site and lab KPI’s are met.
• Other tasks as needed.

 

The Candidate

To be considered for this position, candidates are expected to have an appropriate chemistry qualification to degree level as well as experience handling a diverse range of chemical compounds.

 

Candidates would ideally have some experience in Analytical Chemistry and Statistical Analysis as a good understanding of working in an operational laboratory.

Working as their Electrician, you will join their small but established team based at their head office in Waterlooville, travelling out to client sites carrying out electrical installations, repair and testing work on various water contracts. The Job

Working as the Electrician, you will be responsible for…

• Preforming electrical installations, refurbishments, repairs, testing and pre-planned maintenance across clean and dirty water projects.
• Work on client sites across the South, working away and staying where needed.
• Assisting clients on-site with technical faults or refurbishment projects.
• Inspect, survey, identify faults and carry out testing on electrical systems and equipment.
• Working on client sites and within the company workshop as required.
• Installing and Commissioning new systems and package plant covering both clean and dirty water processes.
• Complete required paperwork for each project to demonstrate installation and testing work has been carried out successfully and accurately.
• Following set designs and manufacturers installation guides, utilising design drawings and wiring diagrams to complete assigned projects.
• Survey electrical systems and plans, ensuring compliance with BS7671 requirements and client specific standards.
• Completing risk assessments, activity reports and other documentation as required.
• Offering after sales technical support.

This is a field-based position requiring a flexible approach to work and the ability to stay away when needed.

 

The Candidate

To be considered for this position candidates will be expected to have a background in performing Electrical maintenance / installation/ testing, ideally with experience working in the water industry or on water treatment plants. Control and automation experience would be advantageous.  Candidates are expected to be Electrically qualified to NVQ level 3 or equivalent and will ideally hold 18th edition and 2391 Test and Inspection. A valid CSCS/ECS is preferable as well as confined space training but this is not essential.  Due to the nature of this role, candidates must hold a full UK driving licence and be flexible to travel across the South and stay away.
