They are looking for a Junior Field Service Technician to join their well established company, offering installations and on-going maintenance works to their customers up and down the UK.

 

Roles & Responsibilities As a Junior Field Service Technician you will be responsible for:

• Attending various customer sites across the UK and Ireland to carry out various installations, repair works, and after sales service support works to specialist plant and machinery.
• Undertaking inspections and assessments of machinery to ensure optimal performance and that all plant remains effective.
• Carrying out reports and documentation detailing completed works and advisories and ensuring that the customer has had necessary follow ups.
• Providing technical and engineering support to customers as well as health and safety guidance and compliance.
• Attending company meetings and training in the Netherlands when required

 

Skills & Qualifications We are looking for someone with the following:

• Electrical experience with relevant qualifications is essential
• Experience of working within the waste industry, ideally recycling
• Experience of working with compactors and balers
• Strong experience of working with heavy industrial machinery
• Hydraulic and pneumatic experience is essential
• Strong customer service and people skills
• Happy to stay away during the working week occasionally

We are working in partnership with a global Energy provider. We are currently recruiting for a Quality Manager to work across 2 Solar Farms near Dundee and Birmingham.  The Quality Manager role comes with a rate of £500-£600 per day.     Key skills 

• Own and oversee project quality compliance across assigned UK projects, ensuring contractors, suppliers, and partners meet contractual, regulatory, and industry standards.
• Establish and maintain the Project Quality Management System (PQMS) from late development through execution and close-out to ensure consistent application of requirements.
• Develop and review key quality documents such as Quality Plans, ITPs, method statements, and associated records with site subcontractors.
• Lead audits, inspections, and surveillance activities, verifying alignment with approved standards, specifications, and management systems.
• Manage non-conformances and quality risks, ensuring timely resolution, preventing recurrence, and providing transparent reporting to project leadership.
• Drive continuous improvement and stakeholder alignment, integrating inputs from engineering, procurement, HSE, construction, and project management, and embedding lessons learned and best practices.

Minimum expectations:

• A strong background in electrical or electronic engineering

• 17th/18th Edition wiring regulations certified (desired)

The EC&I Completions Engineer position come with a day rate from £550 to £600 outside of IR35. Role responsibilities and key skills for the role:

• Manage EC&I completions and handover, reviewing construction completion packs, system boundaries and turnover packages to ensure systems are ready for commissioning.
• Review technical documentation, including electrical drawings, P&IDs, loop folders, test certificates, ITPs, calibration records and red-lined drawings.
• Lead site walkdowns and punch-list management, identifying outstanding works and driving actions through to close-out.
• Maintain completion records and systems, updating CMS/CMMS, completion registers, turnover dossiers and tracking commissioning readiness.
• Manage Technical Queries (TQs), coordinating responses between Construction, Engineering, Commissioning and vendors and ensuring timely close-out.
• Monitor and report progress, providing EC&I completion updates, identifying risks/delays and acting as the interface between Construction, Engineering, Commissioning and the Client.

• Provide day-to-day administrative support to the project vetting teams.
• Coordinate security vetting with employees, agency workers, employers and relevant project teams.

• Responsible for complying with company procedures.
• Responsible for performing Preventative Maintenance accordingly with the PPM annual plan.
• Responsible for performing Corrective Maintenance as occurs.
