Maintenance Tech - 3rd shift  

Essential Job Responsibilities 

• Carrying out repair, maintenance, installation, and troubleshooting work. • Assist in troubleshooting equipment systems with mechanical, hydraulic, and  pneumatic components.  

• Assist in the disassembly and assembly of electrical components. • Fabrications of welded structures, machines, and spare parts with processing  machines. 

• Assembly of jigs and machines according to drawings, sketches, samples, or  instructions. 

• Perform welding, cutting, grinding etc. to repair and modify machinery. • Performs installations and aligns new machinery. 

• Repairs existing presses, gear boxes and facility as needed. 

• Performs Preventative Maintenance (PM) and work orders as directed. • Uses proper Lock Out, Tag Out (LOTO) and other safety procedures. • Uses proper procedure when pulling parts form stores. 

• Instruct and communicate in a positive manner with operators and set-up  personnel. 

• Support the proper documentation activities. 

• Perform 5s activities. 

• Responsible for total quality of products and services and authorized to stop work  when a nonconformance is noted. 

• Perform assigned quality system functions as specified in QMS procedures. • Perform other responsibilities as determined by the supervisor. 

• Observe established EHS regulations, procedures, and practices. 

Education and Experience 

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED). 

• 2 years mechanical maintenance or similar skills base. 

Required Skills and Abilities

Physical Requirements 

The noise level in the work environment is usually loud; hearing protection is provided and required. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to fumes, coolant, or airborne particles and will work near moving mechanical parts. 

• Ability to lift/move 50 pounds regularly. Occasionally life and/or move more  than 100 pounds. 

• Ability to perform excessive walking, standing, bending, climbing, reaching,  grasping, and lifting.

General Maintenance Technician $20-28/hr 1st Shift 7am to 3:30pm   SUMMARY: Responsible for performing non-complex maintenance and repairs on a variety of routine manufacturing repairs, including mechanical equipment an all operations related to manufacturing. Assist in maintaining grounds of facility. Backup other maintenance personnel on projects as required. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS • Perform maintenance and repairs involving some of the following: Observes functioning of all areas of the production facility to detect hazards, problems and the need for service repair and or replacement of mechanical components. • Troubleshoot diagnose and repair mechanical system problems such as motor starters, proximity switches, photo-eyes, contactor, and relay base, using root cause analysis principles and taking corrective action to repairing or replacing electrical and mechanical component. • Respond to work order requests, completing in a timely manner and closing tickets • Follow preventive maintenance schedule for manufacturing. Keep neat and accurate repair records and other department information such as walk-throughs and daily inspection on equipment in the building. • Demonstrate professionalism and self-motivation in order to perform routine duties, and assist others including outside vendors, as scheduled or required • Identify and troubleshoot sources of mechanical failure. Make recommendations and report problems to immediate Supervisor for future improvements on equipment in the manufacturing facility • Maintain neat and orderly inventory of spare parts. • Comply with Company policies, procedures, and protocol including safety is meet and quality is assured.   COMPETENCIES

CNC Mill Programmer Pay ranges - $25 - $40 DOE Shift details - Day - 4x10s M-TH, Friday is optional as OT is usually available but never guaranteed We are a job shop and work with all industries (food/bev, aero, auto, etc). We set up for production runs but will occasionally do odd jobs. We are a 2nd tier/3rd tier supplier as we don't deal with the end company.  We are looking for a semi-supervisor/lead however we are willing to groom someone with good communication and personality into an eventual shop supervisor. Looking for a programmer with Mill background but someone that also has lathe is a plus as they would eventually oversee the Lather operators. There is no crane system and everything is hand loaded - no jobs over 125 lbs. We mainly deal with stainless and aluminum but will occasionally do exotics (other metals and fiberglass). Really looking for someone that can be efficient in the set up/programming of the machines and moving quickly from one machine to the other).
