Akron, OH manufacturer is hiring for a 1st shift CNC Milling Operator 1st Shift working 6am to 4:30pm Mon-Fri $20 to $24 hour

RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Tool changes
2. Setting tool registers, offsets, compensation, and conditional switches, calculating requirements, including basic math.
3. Maintain dimensions and tolerances using knowledge of offsets and instruments such as micrometers and veneer calipers.
4. Monitor the feed and speed of machines during the machining process. Adjust as necessary for conditions and to the produce the fastest, safest, highest quality part possible.
5. Inspect parts per blueprint and as instructed.
6. Maintain a clean work environment.
7. Owns tools.

Tig Welder 1st shift:  Hours: Monday – Friday 6:00 am - 2:30 pm; occasional Saturday 6:00 am -12:00 pm Pay:$21 Summary:

• TIG (Tungsten Inert Gas) Welder: assemble and weld carbon and stainless steel, ability to fuse joints together, use fixtures to weld brackets to various size tubing.
• Ability to assemble and weld parts per print with or without fixture.
• Demonstrate the ability to properly set and adjust the welder (gas settings, wire feed rate, amperage settings) for the varying types of thickness of material to produce a proper weld.
• Able to read and interpret prints and drawings.
• Previous TIG welding experience required.
• 2 years previous experience TIG welding required.

CNC Operator - 2nd or 3rd shift

Mentor, OH precision machining manufacturer for the military equipment industry is expanding staff for 2nd and 3rd shift CNC operations.

Needing 2+ years experience with CNC production operating of milling or lathe.

• Fanuc controls
• Tool changes and offsets
• Use of measuring tools
• Blueprint reading

Shifts: 2nd shift 2pm to 10pm or 3rd shift 10pm to 6am

Starting Rate: $22 to $25 hourly
