CNC Machinist - 2nd shift

2nd shift: 2pm to 10:30pm Starting Rate: $30 to $37 hourly Willoughby, OH manufacturer within the investment casting industry is hiring for a 2nd shift CNC Machinist.  The CNC Machinist is needing to come with 10+ years within machining and will be involved in custom/one-off work. • Complete assembly of mechanical and electrical parts and assemblies. 

• Follows written documentation including assembly procedures, drawings, bill of  materials and other quality documents.  

• Complete in process inspections and testing of assembled parts. 

• Assembly and soldering of cable and electrical assemblies.  

• On the job training provide for soldering and assembly of cable assemblies. Once  trained, production assembler shall be proficient in cable assembly tasks.

Quality Manager  Salaried $85K to $95K Euclid, OH manufacturer to the fastener industry is hiring for a Quality Manager. This Quality Manager will lead over the Quality department along with the Metallurgical and Quality Control Testing Lab. The Quality Manager will oversee 1 Quality Supervisor, 1 Quality Engineer, and 2 Inspectors for ISO certified facility.

Job Summary: 

Manages and directs activities in the Metallurgical and Quality Control Testing Lab.

Essential Job Functions: 

Supervise Inspection Department Employees, assign work assignments from Lab Hot List, Screw Machine Final Inspection and Import Inspection. 

Prepare and Participate for ISO and A2LA Audits. 

Direct and coordinate testing of finished and semi-finished sample specimens to determine if metallurgical, physical properties and dimensional features meet manufacturing specifications. 

Calibrate all measuring tools, assign a serial number and log each gage and calibration in GAGEtrak. 

Monitor and maintain that all calibrations for measuring instruments are up to date. 

Oversee issuing gages for jobs ready for production. 

Review new production orders. Make sure print match up to routings. Revise inspections sheets as needed. 

Create Inspection Method form for all jobs, review prints for needed gages and order as needed. 

Review test reports to determine if physical characteristics of sample specimens meet metallurgical specifications and quality control standards. 

Investigate causes of defective material and advise supervisory personnel of the production departments or sublet vendors responsible for processing defects. 

Complete Vendor Rejection, Rework and Customer Complaint Forms.

Determine disposition of substandard material, according the established precedent or upon approval of superior, such as downgrading, reprocessing or scrapping of material. 

Advises metallurgical personnel on problems involving quality control and testing techniques, methods and on application of metallurgical specifications to metal products. 

Create Purchase orders for outside calibrations and new equipment purchases.

Order Consumables using requisition folder, create new travelers as needed.

Investigate causes of erroneous testing and issue corrective action notices.

Participate in the selection of laboratory staff. 

Train inspection and laboratory staff – keep proper training records 

Responsible for ensuring all laboratory practices and policies documented in the Quality Control Manual and Quality Control Procedures are adhered to. 

Responsible for the calibration and maintenance of all laboratory testing equipment, as well as documentation. 

 

Maintenance Technician - 1st or 3rd shift Starting Rate: $28 to $32 hourly Euclid, OH area heavy industrial manufacturer is adding staff for both 1st and 3rd shift within Maintenance. -Seeking 2+ years experience within manufacturing maintenance involving both mechanical and electrical repairs. Summary The overall role of a Multi-Craft Maintenance Employee is to maintain the entire plant's production equipment with diagnosing and repairs. Maintenance Tech

We are currently seeking a 3rd Shift Production Supervisor! This role oversees the making of HVAC components through use of press operating and assembly skills.  Production Supervisor Benefits:

The Extrusion Operator job in Bedford, OH is responsible for understanding the process of setting up, tearing down and cleaning out the machines. You’ll have a solid understanding within the plastics field. This is a full-time position.  

Extrusion Operator Required Skills: 

• Start up, set up, operate, and tend a machine that extrudes thermoplastics to meet customer specifications and dimensions according to work orders
• Load materials into extruder and adjust feed mechanisms to set feed rates.
• Move controls to activate and adjust for extruding process.
• Observe machine operations, control boards, and gauges to detect any defective material or any machine malfunctions

Schedule:

• Monday Morning 6am - 10am
• Monday Night 10pm to 10am
• Tuesday Night 10pm to 10am
• Wednesday Night 10pm to 10am

Pay Rate: $19 - $22/Hr
