Hey! Jason here! I look forward to helping you with your travel therapy job search. Travel therapy is life changing and adventurous!
I was a former travel PT for 4 years, with my wife. We took over 15 contracts in almost 10 different states. I know the travel world intimately and love to share my passion for it with other traveling therapists!
Travel Therapy Recruiter - Avid Skier and outdoorsman - Great fisher mediocre catcher - moved to Montana at the end of my travel career for the endless outdoor opportunities
I am a Marine Corps Veteran, my wife is a travel nurse and we live in our RV full time while traveling from assignment to assignment.
I started in IT Sales for Compaq Computer Corp. When I moved to Charlotte NC years later I discovered recruiting and joined Nurses RX. I then chose to be a stay home mom after 1 ½ years of recruiting and then became a Special Needs teacher in the elementary school where my daughter attended. Now I am here, at TNAA! I missed recruiting and connecting with so many special people in healthcare!!
I love helping travelers find assignments! I'm a no-pressure, hardworking, experienced recruiter who is an open book about traveling and life! Recruiting has always come naturally to me and I always make it a positive experience, even if you land a job with another agency or decide not to travel. My wife works in healthcare as an MRI Tech so I see firsthand the stresses of working in healthcare. You'll get a recruiter that cares and works hard for you when you're on my team!
Outside of work, my wife and I have two young kiddos and two dogs. I love the ocean which is why I live near it. I am a big wave, big storm, shark & surf loving guy who recently got into running marathons. If it has to do with adrenaline, I'm all about it! Last year, I swam from Alcatraz to San Francisco which was pretty nuts! I do like collecting seashells with my kiddos, as well!
I graduated from FGCU with a BSN and then worked as a Registered Nurse in many Critical Care settings. I have now been with Cell Staff for 2.5 years and love what I do!
I started PICU travel nursing with my wife (also a PICU travel nurse) in 2018 and had a really bad experience with another company and was close to giving it up. We found Atlas MedStaff and then found our love for travel nursing. We traveled for 2 years to 5 different hospitals. Due to the pandemic last year, we had to stop because we found out we were pregnant. I transitioned into a recruiter role and couldn't be happier!
