The Visus Group's biannual CMO Roundtable sessions are events I look forward to each time they are available to attend! The organization provides its members with a safe environment to ensure confidentiality and foster collaboration among talented and experienced individuals who may not ever cross paths without their strategic facilitation. To my knowledge, there isn't a more powerful way to share and collect best practices, cutting edge tactics, new tech tools, and successful strategies than from fellow colleagues who are experiencing similar challenges in the very same industry!
I think the people are great and the opportunities to network are both fun and helpful. The sessions are engaging and the management of the agenda between focus and break and discussion is excellent. As a newer entrant in the staffing space, I'm getting good learning just about how businesses in this space operate and the common challenges and opportunities we face. In terms of particular stats/tips/tricks that we are able to take back into our businesses and share with others to help drive growth, I think there is room to improve.
A few of us mentioned that we wished we had more time together! Perhaps the afternoon of the second day (maybe just until 3:00) could be reserved as an optional "Hot Topics" time? That way if someone needed to leave at noon, they could, but you could also stay to talk through some quick hot topics. Especially since we've all made the effort to be there together, I think having a few more hours of in-person meeting time would be beneficial.
I thought the agenda was very well-structured this time, with related topics in order. I also felt we were all very prepared, thanks to the form we completed before the meeting! Thanks for all your hard work to make it such a worthwhile meeting!
