About Jordan Dial:

Jordan by far makes the travel nursing experience worthwhile... He is the only recruiter I choose to work with as he makes me feel as though he supports me in what I do, listens to my needs, follows up accordingly, and is downright a friend! He is an amazing asset to TNAA and I will always recommend him to my fellow nursing team!

About Jimmy Landrum:

Jimmy deserves 5 Stars and Top Box Scores in all areas. Jimmy is an excellent nurse recruiter and is indeed an asset to the TNAA team. He is extremely effective at frontline recruiting and closing the deal from sign on to hire. He is very likable, relatable, personable and knowledgeable and has a welcoming phone presence. He is attentive to his respective recruits and remembered what was important to me as a nurse and as a person. He took the time to get to know me. He is quite gifted at determining the goals of the potential applicant and within a couple of phone conversations had me, who was not really in a hurry to sign with anyone, signed with TNAA, and against recommendations, only TNAA. The majority of travelers I know and several Travel Nurse Conference leaders directly recommend nurses and professionals to sign with a minimum of three agencies. Because of Jimmy’s effectiveness as a recruiter I just chose TNAA. I had researched several agencies for over a year and had a top 5 list I was previously planning to submit resumes and applications to and, only for lack of knowledge, TNAA was not even on that list. Jimmy and his recruiting effectiveness made me mostly forget all about bothering with the other 5 agencies. I still am only signed with TNAA. He did an excellent job recruiting me. If anything, The only very minor constructive criticism I can offer to Jimmy is to not boast the number of nurses he and the agency has placed in jobs this week and this month. I understand this information is used as a tool for validation of your fantastic team and successful placements, and is very effective in making a wavering person commit to an offer. However, it is not always the best approach to maintain consistency in the individual personal approach to recruiting your team. That information is something to be proud of, but boasted, can also feel impersonal to a person still deciding. Being rushed and then told how many nurses are being placed so successfully because you all are truly so good at what you do can make someone new or from a small town organization feel like just another number. It diminishes the impression that one’s individual needs for appropriate placement are not nearly as important as just getting them placed or hired and hired quickly. It can change the perspective of the recruit, implying that the “real” goal is just to drive up those hire on numbers. I have had patients tell me they feel like they are just cattle, not people, when they are confronted with large numbers of other patient populations or if they feel rushed. Travel Nurses are making career and life decisions, especially newbie travel nurses. They may respect the numbers but not be comforted by them. They also may not always appreciate the fast and hard push, even if they need it. ;-) Jimmy was in tune to my hesitation and my concerns and as an advocate for TNAA he persisted very effectively in maintaining communication with me and told me he placed more applications out to several other places I was interested in going when my first choice didn’t respond, and he kept the momentum in my application process going. I think, at my request, he submitted four or five applications to Baltimore alone for me. He also, in all, submitted my application and resume to 8 or more jobs in 4 or 5 different places. He worked hard to get me an acceptable offer and location and I was hired in just a few days. He explained the process and answered my many questions with patience and accuracy. He effectively used many things he and I discussed to “help me” commit to an assignment in a timely matter. In all, I had three hire offers in less than 72 hours and chose the third offer. The final two offers were places I requested and were in my top 3 places to go. I couldn’t ask for a more pleasant, successful or effective recruiter. Give Jimmy a raise because He did great. He did exactly what he told me he would do and could do. Jimmy worked very hard for TNAA and for me. Thank You Jimmy. Thank You TNAA.
