Amanda McCartney

Hi, my name is Amanda, I have over 16 years of experience working with people in a variety of roles. My heart lies in building a trusting relationship by truly listening to my travelers in order to help each one to reach their goals. As a military spouse, I have a unique understanding of the challenges and the excitement that comes with moving across the country frequently. The first duty station I moved to with my Air Force husband was to Anchorage, Alaska! In my life, I have had the privilege to live in 25 different cities, throughout 8 different states. So needless to say, I have had the chance to experience settling into new places. Currently, my husband and I are stationed in Little Rock, AR, where we have been now for 12 years! I have an amazing set of twins (one boy and one girl) and a golden retriever named River. Outside of recruiting, I am also a Competitive Gymnastics Coach for my daughter and her team. I also enjoying spending time outdoors and being active from hiking and fishing to staying healthy through fitness.

Why I love to recruit
I enjoy the process of helping to set an individual's goals and listen to desires of why they want to be a travel nurse. I love to hear about the experiences and locations that my travelers get to go to and knowing that they are out there helping so many patients and the facilities... it is so rewarding to know that I could help with their journey.

When I'm not working I like to
I love to spend time with my family! I am also a Competitive Gymnastics Coach in the state of Arkansas. Huge college football fan (Go Gators) and I enjoy fitness and love spending time in the outdoors.
