Hourly pay range $ 38-41 Job Responsibilities                                               Your specific duties as a QA Specialist will include:           
  • Turbine and Generator Services (TGS) support the Regulated and Renewable Energy (RRE) fleet by maximizing reliability and minimizing costs for centerline assets. TGS uses specialized teams, technology, and analytics to address operational challenges.
  • The QA Specialist leads quality improvement efforts, manages programs independently, and focuses on vendor performance.
  • This role ensures consistent quality standards, analyzes and optimizes processes, and communicates effectively across all management levels.
  • Strong leadership, technical, and analytical skills are essential.
  • Maintain the TGS Quality Program for centerline assets to improve the availability and reliability of the RRE fleet of centerline assets and drive down the cost of quality for the fleet.
  • Execute the vendor qualification and requalification process to assess technical and quality competency of vendors to perform centerline work (both shop work and on turbine deck).
  • Perform quality audits at vendor shops as required based on past vendor performance.
  • Influence business unit leaders on implementation of consistent standards across the business unit.
  • Actively integrate industry best practices into fleet initiatives and programs.
  • Maintain metrics and KPIs in support of fleet initiatives and business targets. Revise initiatives to respond to changing industry/fleet trends and priorities.
  • Perform root cause analysis (RCA) for significant failures on centerline assets in the RRE fleet or contribute towards OEM RCA investigations.
  • Maintain TGS Quality Checklist program and provide oversight and support for technical teams completing the checklists. Report out on metrics, analyze to identify degrading trends, and initiate corrective actions with vendors as required.
  • Maintain Quality Reporting system for events and collaborate with technical teams to assess cause and corrective actions required by vendors to address issues. Report out monthly to TGS Leadership team on quality event count, Cost of Poor Quality, rework and near-miss trending.
  • Lead monthly quality calls with key OEM contacts to develop data-driven action plans with technical teams.
  • Establish constructive working relationships with vendors, OEMs, and other business units to ensure efficient coordination of work activities. Exhibit strong oral and written communication abilities. Maintain comprehensive and accurate records and documentation.
  • Support the company's goals and represent the company positively and professionally.
  • Assess quality data collection and reporting in PowerApps and PowerBi to improve user experience and enhance capabilities of the teams. Job Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree and 5 years related experience
  • In Lieu of Degree - HS Diploma / GED with 10 years related experience
  • Strong collaboration/interpersonal skills and written/verbal communication skills
  • Five or more years of prior centerline (steam turbine, gas turbine, generator) experience in the utility industry related to Operations & Maintenance.
  • Understanding of the basic principles of project management.
  • Experience using OSI PI Vision/Datalink and Microsoft Office software utilities.
  • Quality Engineering, Assurance, and control experience.
  • Process Improvement experience.

  • This Logistics and Supply Chain position plays an integral role in supporting finished good production for the Premium Bath and Towels product categories and managing cost through development and sustainability of efficient supply chain strategies with vendors.
  • This position is responsible for ordering materials for K-C production sites to support business objectives and business plans.
  • This position is also expected to lead and / or participate in various projects which support achieving team objectives.
  • Execute material requirement plans to ensure supplies and work-in-process availability which supports production schedules

OBD Test Engineer

  • The OBD Production Vehicle Evaluation (PVE) Test Engineer is responsible for executing assigned OBD diagnostic demonstration programs which are submitted to the California Air Resources Board (CARB) to support OBD certification.
  • Ordering test vehicles
  • Managing vehicle buildup, testing, and de-instrumentation and generating work order requests for vehicle instrumentation as needed
  • Completing PVE testing following internally published best practices. This includes the following:
  •  Use of CAN and LIN communication software to ensure detection of networking faults
  • Interfacing with a breakout harness and installing resistors on electrical lines to ensure detection of circuit faults
  • Utilizing hardware (e.g. different EGR valves) to ensure detection of various faults
  • Driving of company vehicles on road for fault detection as needed
  • Taking Vehicle Diagnostic scans for data collection
  • Facilitate the investigation of issues found during testing with Engineering teams
  • Analyzing results to ensure faulted demonstration per documented procedures
  • Support OBD Reporting Engineering with updates to documented procedures as needed
  • Support identification and read across of procedural concerns within the consolidated procedures document
  • Submit requests to Instrumentation to have new breakout harnesses built as needed
Job Requirements
  • Bachelors degree in engineering required
  • Minimum 2 years experience in OBD testing, certification, compliance, emissions testing, or similar
  • Must have strong computer skills (Microsoft Office, MS Excel) and willing behavior of adherence to processes
  • Must be detail oriented, have good people skills, and be a self-starter
  • Ability to independently manage project objectives and activities
  • Must have good communication and coordinating skills to manage multiple vehicle programs
  • Understand regulatory certification related to OBD PVE testing or vehicle emissions testing
  • Compile/review data and prepare necessary documentation in a timely manner.
  • Experience with working in an automotive lab environment. Comfortable working with government employees
  • Experience setting OBD faults
  • Hybrid and/or Electric vehicle testing experience is a plus
