Job Title: Maintenance Technician

Pay: $22.00 – $28.00 per hour, DOE Hours: Monday – Friday, Day Shift Start Date: ASAP

Looking for a hands-on role with steady daytime hours and independence in your workday? Join a residential property management team as a Maintenance Technician, where you’ll travel between properties to keep units safe, functional, and well-maintained.

As a Maintenance Technician, you’ll work independently throughout the day performing repairs and preventative maintenance, helping ensure residents have clean, safe, and comfortable living spaces.

What You’ll Do

As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for:

• Traveling between residential properties to complete maintenance requests

• Performing light plumbing repairs, including fixtures, drains, and leak troubleshooting

• Troubleshooting and completing basic electrical repairs

• Repairing and replacing drywall as needed

• Completing minor carpentry work including doors, trim, and cabinetry

• Inspecting units to identify maintenance or safety concerns

• Communicating clearly with management regarding completed work and needed repairs

• Tracking time, materials, and completed work accurately

• Maintaining a safe, clean, and organized work environment

What You’ll Bring

The ideal candidate for this role will have:

• Previous experience in property maintenance or as a Maintenance Technician preferred

• Knowledge of light plumbing and electrical systems

• Experience with drywall repair and basic carpentry

• Ability to work independently and manage daily workload

• Valid driver’s license 

• Reliable personal vehicle for travel between properties

• Personal tools required for maintenance work

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks throughout the shift

• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

• Reliable attendance and professional communication
