Duties and Responsibilities for Quality Assurance Technician:
- Audit production QC (Quality Control) inspections and data
- Audit product startup
- Sign off on first article of production
- Review production QC (Quality Control) paperwork, and verify that its accurate and complete.
- Perform in-line product inspection
- Perform QC checks: Granulation, Moisture, Weights, Fruit Counts, Oxygen/Nitrogen, Bag and Carton Seal Checks, Date Code, and Label Date Code.
- Conduct regular audits on weight, date and label codes, and glass and brittle plastics.
- Conduct fruit count on harder items.
- Conduct sanitation inspections.
- Conduct ATP and environmental swabbing.
- Inspect finished goods
- Responsible for supporting and maintaining Food Safety and Quality programs as it relates to this position.
Skills and Qualifications for Quality Assurance Technician:
- Prior QA/QC experience in a food production setting preferred
- One (1) plus years in a laboratory or related inspection work
- Prior work experience in food production and familiarity of GMPs
- Working knowledge of food safety principles
- Capability to perform simple mathematical calculations
- Ability to lift 20lbs on an infrequent basis

Day Shift:
6:00AM - 2:30PM
$17.50/hour
Swing Shift:
2:00PM - 10:30PM
$18.25/hour
Night Shift:
10:00PM - 6:30AM
$18.50/hour
