Machine Operator

Long-standing, local manufacturer of rubber products: speed bumps, wheel chocks for American & United airlines, rubber bases for plastic cones, etc. is seeking a Machine Operator to operate machines according to safety and production standards:

Duties and Responsibilities for Machine Operator:

• Operate machines according to safety and production standards
• Pour crumb rubber from mixer into buckets - can weigh up to 50 lbs
• Pour crumb rubber into molds
• Close presses using dual hand buttons
• Remove product by hand with hand tool when presses auto opens automatically after press cycle
• Visually inspect product for defects
• Put parts on pallets
• Operate up to 4 presses at a time
• Apply corrections from supervisors
• Keep work area clean
• Perform daily counts
• On warm days, the work environment is VERY WARM

Skills and Qualifications for Machine Operator:

• Ability to work with minimal supervision
• Must be able to follow all safety rules and guidelines

Monday - Thursday 3:00PM - 1:30AM  

Pay Rate:

$21.00/hour
