Job Title: Pool and Spa Service Technician

Pay: $18/hour Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm Start Date: ASAP  

A pool and spa company serving Salem, OR and neighboring cities for many years including pool construction, pool and spa repairs, and pool and spa maintenance, has an opening for a Service Technician.

 

What you will Do-  As a Pool and Spa Service Technician, you will be responsible for:

  • Identifying and assessing issues with equipment
  • Repairing equipment (pumps, filters, cracks, leaks etc.)
  • Plumbing work (new plumbing, replumbing)
  • Application of specific electricity work
  • Understanding technical work with programming of certain equipment (timers, automation, etc.)
  • Basic, general understanding of pool chemistry and chemicals
  • Safe and proper use of hand and power tools (grinders, roto hammers, drills, sawzall, etc.)
  • Occasionally towing/maneuvering small trailers (dump trailer, cargo trailer, utility trailer) 

What we are looking for-  The ideal candidate for this role will have: 
  • Effective communication skills with customers and each other
  • Ability to follow directions and follow through with given tasks
  • Ability to work well with others, yet work independently when needed
  • A valid driver's license with a clean driving record for the past three (3) years is mandatory
  • Ability to lift 50-100 lbs

 

Location & Schedule:

This position is on-site in Salem, Oregon and offers full-time hours.
