Duties and Responsibilities for Wood Production and Mill Worker

This position requires that you work in both the Production and Mill Departments

Wood Production Worker:

  • Building wood furniture from start to finish
  • Loading and off loading wood from saws
  • Marking Defects
  • Sorting wood on pallets by size and color grading
  • Sanding
  • Spraying finish
  • Cross training in all areas
  • Loading trucks

Mill Worker:

  • 10x1 ft boards will run along the roller machines after being cut from logs
  • Guide the boards (physical work) down the rollers and place them in appropriate location
