Job Title: Steel Fabricator/Welder

Pay: $20.00 + DOE per hour Hours: Full-time, 40+ hours weekly Start Date: ASAP

As a Steel Fabricator/Welder, you’ll be essential in turning technical drawings into finished products. You’ll work closely with team members to ensure projects are completed accurately and efficiently, maintaining a safe and organized workspace.

What You’ll Do:

• Review blueprints and shop drawings to understand project scope and manufacturing specifications.
• Assemble and join metal parts, ensuring components meet quality and dimensional standards.
• Perform MIG and stick welding routinely; TIG welding experience is a plus. Work with materials such as carbon steel and stainless steel.
• Conduct thermal cutting and execute specialty welds as required.
• Operate fabrication equipment including grinders, drill presses, ironworkers, shears, and press brakes.
• Measure and verify part dimensions with standard tools to ensure proper fit and alignment.
• Perform basic preventative maintenance on tools and equipment, reporting mechanical issues promptly.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment at all times.

What You’ll Bring:

• Hands-on experience in metal fabrication and structural welding.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and production drawings.
• Familiarity with forming, cutting, and shaping sheet metal components.
• Experience operating shop tools and fabrication machinery in a manufacturing setting.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality workmanship.
• Proficiency with measuring tools to ensure precise layout and fit-up.
• Good problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or in a team.
• Ownership of basic hand tools (power tools provided).
