Job Title: Production Packaging Associate Urgent Hire!

Pay: $17.50/hour Hours: Monday - Friday,  6:00AM - 2:30PM  Start Date: ASAP  Looking for a hands-on role in a growing company? Join a company specializing in Anodizing and Specialty Coatings as a Production Packaging Associate in Wood Village , Oregon and make an impact every day. As a Production Packaging Associate, you’ll play a key role in supporting daily operations, by packing parts and products to be shipped to customers in a timely manner. Paying attention to detail in the quality control process, quantity (counting of the parts) and following work order instructions.

What You'll Do:

As a Production Packaging Associate, you will be responsible for:

• Marks and labels containers, container tags, or products, using marking tools.
• Measures, weighs, and counts products and materials.
• Examines and inspects containers, materials, and products in order to ensure that packing specifications on work orders are met.
• Records product, packaging, and order information on customer work orders.
• Identifies blemished or defective parts and segregates them based on what type a blemish is seen.
• Packages containers using tape to seal, when needed screws are also used.
• Packages larger items onto pallets. Coordinates with lead and shipping to have pallets wrapped.
• Assembles, lines, pads, containers, cartons and crates using hand tools.
• Cleans containers, materials, supplies or work areas, using cleaning solutions and hand tools.
• Checks thicknesses on parts and understands how to read measurements for documentation.
• Notifies lead if parts are placed on hold or need further attention.
• Provides assistance to other departments as requested by a supervisor.
