Hours: 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM, Monday – Friday Start Date: ASAPA local manufacturing company in West Eugene is growing and looking for a Temp-to-Hire Production Associate to join their team. Duties and Responsibilities:Operating Assembly Machinery: Operate specialized machinery designed for product assembly, including insertion equipment. Ensure proper setup and calibration for accurate and efficient production.
Quality Control and Inspection: Conduct regular inspections of assembled products to verify correct placement and integrity. Identify and address any quality issues, such as misalignments or defective assemblies.
Material Handling: Load components into assembly machines, ensuring a steady supply for production. Monitor material inventory and coordinate replenishment with the team.
Machine Maintenance and Troubleshooting: Perform routine maintenance on assembly machines to keep them in optimal condition. Troubleshoot malfunctions and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime.
Documentation and Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate production records, including output quantities, machine settings, and quality control checks. Generate batch records for traceability and quality assurance.
Cleaning and Sanitation: Keep work areas clean and organized. Follow sanitation protocols to prevent contamination. Regularly clean assembly equipment and follow changeover procedures between production runs.
