Industrial Sewing Machine Operator Urgent Hire Pay:  $18.00-$20.00 DOE Hours:  Monday - Thursday 6:00AM - 4:30PM Start Date:  ASAP  We are looking for an Industrial Sewing Machine Operator for our customer, an innovative manufacturing company committed to unrivaled customer service and continuous improvement. located in Cottage Grove, Oregon. 

As a Industrial Sewing Machine Operator, you will be responsible for::

• Construct assigned item(s) and components properly, following a combination of printed work instructions, integral samples, and verbal instructions.
• Inspect in-process materials to ensure proper cut, shade, compatibility and ensure that all materials are free of flaws.
• Operate single, double, multi-needle, and / or other types of sewing machines to create finished garments and / or other products.
• Perform various sewing duties to meet efficiency standards
• Show ability over time to display proficiency on multiple machines and multiple products.
• Assure that all products are built to the highest standard of quality
• Keep workplace clean, tidy and in good condition.
• Regularly inspect and clean equipment

The ideal candidate for this role will have:

• Excellent sewing skills either from professional or at home experience
• Attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Ability to lift up to 60 pounds and work on your feet in a production environment.
• High school graduate or equivalent.
