We are seeking a skilled and experienced Furniture Production Worker and Machine Trainee in Albany to carry out various tasks in a busy warehouse. The Production / Trainee worker will be responsible for operating production line equipment, finishing products, and reporting any issues with equipment directly to maintenance supervisors. This is a full-time, day shift position. We are seeking a candidate who has some prior carpentry or woodworking experience, and excellent communication skills.

Duties and Responsibilities Wood Furniture Production and Machine Trainee:

• Will be working on furniture part production
• Assisting as needed
• Load and unload product off sander.
• Report any machinery issues to management
• Maintain a clean work area
• Train to operate glue wheel and other machines

Skills and Qualifications Wood Furniture Production and Machine Trainee:

• Sense of Urgency
• Prior relevant experience preferred but not required.
  • Preference will be given to any prior woodworking or cabinetry experience
• Ability to read a tape measure
• Ability to lift and maneuver 50+ pounds throughout the shift
• Comfortable with hand and power tools 
• Comfortable working in a fast paced environment
• Dependable, team player
• Must have great attendance 

Job Details Wood Furniture Production and Machine Trainee:

• Schedule: Monday - Thursday from 6am - 4:30pm
• Temp to Hire
• Wage: $16.50
