Property Maintenance Technician 

A small but mighty, and highly reputable Property Management & Appliance Repair Company, serving the State of Oregon for the last 20 years, is seeking a Property Maintenance Technician, to join their growing team in Lane County! * This Company DOES provide all tools and equipment required on the job!  Need help applying? Call us at 541-746-6200!  

Duties and Responsibilities for Property Maintenance Technician:

• Apartment Complex and Unit Upkeep and General Maintenance
• General manual cleanup as needed using brooms & dustpans etc.
• Disposal of Trash / Garbage and any Debris
• Unclogging sinks, toilets, shower / bathtub drains
• Fixing Leaky sinks / faucets etc.
• Changing out light bulbs and potentially small light fixture change outs / replacements as needed
• Electrical Outlet / Socket replacements as needed
• Clean vents and/or change out Air/Heat System Filters as needed
• Light Paint touch-ups as needed on unit turns to ready for new Tenant move-ins. / Small Cosmetic drywall patching etc. as needed as well
• Small to Medium Size Appliance Repair / Diagnosis as needed
  • Either Repair Appliance if able, OR coordinate the Appliance Repair, with Supervisor, TC Curtis, to be conducted by a professional in that Appliance Repair Field, if beyond your scope of ability.

 

Skills and Qualifications for Property Maintenance Technician:

• Must be able to read & use a tape measure
• Must be able to pass a Background Check and Motor Vehicle Report to meet insurance coverage acceptance requirements
• Must be a reliable person with a Strong work ethic and have reliable transportation to either meet at a central location to ride share, or to meet at Job Site(s) in the Eugene / Springfield area, as business needs dictate
• Must be physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs throughout duration of shift as needed
• Must be able to bend, stoop, twist and stand on your feet for the duration of a full 7 - 8 hour shift
• Previous Building or Property Maintenance experience a BIG PLUS!

Monday - Friday 9:00 AM - 4:30 PM Pay Rate: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour - DOE #STEUG
